The world's finest natural earplugs

Working nights and having a rather busy house I find these to be the perfect solution to my sleepless days. You get 2 per pack and to be honest, I just use 1 at a time, just roll it in your hand to warm it up tear it in half and press into your ear. It will take shape and hold secure with out being uncomfortable as I find other "harder" plugs to be. They will knock out general noise's like hoovering, talking and TV, but you will still hear the wake up alarm(which is always a good thing). I set my alarm to a high pitch ring tone as this passed through the plug. They may take 2/3 days to get used to them but once you are you'll find them to be perfect requirement to your needs. They may seem pretty expensive but I have tried many, man different types of earplugs( long term night worker here) and not found any that let me sleep in comfort and unbroken hours of sleep due to them falling out or just irritating! They are made from a blue tak kind of material but leave no marks on bed cloths or oily residue, they last approx 3 weeks(3x2 using as described). Try them, give them a couple of days and you won't use anything else. You'll feel more alive and motive at work and not a "miserable old git"(work colleague can be so cruel). Not only can they be used for sleep but also any kind of work related or other noisy environments Ie..I sometimes use them for my motorcycle riding, knocks out wind and traffic noises!

I've tried many an ear plug and this is the only one that worked for me . I'm so glad I found them. It's like blue tac but it's a natural wax It seals my ear completely so I can swim without water getting in my ear canal which really messes me up. Been using for about 8 months and they seem as good today as the day I purchased . The initial cost is a little higher but it's worth it because they work and the plastic or silicone ones in my experience over a few years do not.

The only earplugs that I use that actually work are a little bit expensive but recommended.

and I have tried a few, including really expensive professional musician type ones. Nothing beats these BUT they do have a couple of bad points. 1) if you have long hair sometimes you wake up with your hair stuck on your earplug - nothing serious though (not like chewing gum or anything) 2) They do lose their "sticky" after a while and thus become less efficient but at the price they are it is no real problem 3) you may have blue residue in your ears the morning after so make sure you clean them before wearing your hair up and people ask you questions Apart from that I highly recommend these. They got me to sleep when next door had their moving in party and allegedly had their music blaring till 4am - I didn't hear it enough to wake me. They do not block 100% of the sound but if you fit them properly it's nigh on

Now I'm getting rather suspicious with the level of excellent feedback over these ear plugs. I was looking forward to recieving these in the post and finally getting a goods night sleep; after all, with the outstanding reviews here, what could go wrong? First impressions weren't brilliant, the lumps of blue dough were hard and looked very uncomfortable, but after rubbing them between my fingers they eventually softened up. I ignored the sticky residue they left all over my fingers for a while and proceeded to insert them into my ears (FYI, I was following the supplied instructions). The initial reaction was 'ouch', so I took them out and kneaded them until they were almost the consistencey of chewing gum. By this time they already looked disgusting, but I persevered. When they eventually got in, the sound was remarkably dulled, but they still felt swelling and uncomfortable. I even tried breaking bits off thinking that perhaps my lugs were too small, but they were still itchy, hot, painful and by this time looked like something I wouldn't want to touch with gloves, let alone stick in my ears. They were also very hard to get out of the ear as they were warm so bits kept breaking off and I got chunks stuck in to my hair. When I eventually got them out my ear was throbbing and uncomfortable and felt sticky and itchy, my hair had bits of blue beeswax stuck in it, and I was aware I had wasted my money. A few days later I got a lovely big spot in my ear, and I couldn't touch it for days. I think i'll go back to my silicone ones, as at least they didn't look like the result of a bad chest infection after a few minutes use.

These earplugs are described as the worlds best earplugs. They are not the best. The earplugs have a similar texture to play-do or plasticine. They are very big in size and most likely will need to be resized to fit your ear. The ear plug is Kneaded for around 2-3mins before inserting into the ear, and then flattening around entrance to your ear. The texture of the plugs make them slightly sticky, of which helps to create a seal around the entrance to the ear blocking out noise. However, they do not block out total noise, they are around twice as good as the foam cheap type. I bought these to drown out a small dog barking in a morning, but it does not block it out just muffles it more but still wakes me up. I am still looking for the worlds best earplugs, but these are not them. I do not believe they are worth the price.

Having bought silicone earplugs on the strength of rave reviews on here which then turned out to be disappointing, I was expecting to be disappointed again with these earplugs, despite the recommendations. However, much to my amazement, they do actually work. Not only that, they are much more comfortable than other earplugs and relatively easy to use. Those who have posted negative reviews almost certainly haven't used them properly. You have to mould them into a shape which which will cover the ear canal and around the opening to the ear canal to make a seal. They should not be inserted right into the ear canal but over it. They won't work well if you don't create a seal and they're designed to stick to the ear so you can do just that. They are quite pricey - however, you can get them a lot cheaper elsewhere online in the UK if you do a search, as I've just discovered. All in all, if you are struggling to sleep, given them a try. I was going insane from sleep deprivation and it had taken over my life, now thanks to these plugs, I'm back to normal. As for the people who have had to go to hospital to have them removed - well, to be honest you'd have to be a bit stupid to push anything deep into your ear canal unless explicitly instructed to do so! The instructions tell you to place the plug over the canal to create a seal not to insert them! Common sense tells you that if something is made of wax, it is likely to get stuck if pushed too far into the canal as with anything. The exception to that is foam plugs as they hold their shape and so can be easily removed.

I've been buying these for ten years at least and having tried everywhere ear plug on the market can honestly say these are the worlds best. They cancel out at least 80% if not more of noise and believe me living with a snorer are a live saver .I hope they never stop making these
