Good advice
Item as described, this my my own fault for not drying them properly after use but they will rust a little and wear out fast especially if your using them on a traditional flat lap, better suited for a facet machine.

Almost perfect for my needs
It's only getting 4 stars because they didn't hold up as long as I'd have liked, but they were perfect for shaping my gemstones. I wish I could find them in some higher grits for finishing touches, but they worked great. Very well balanced and high enough quality discs.

not for gemstones
These are probably really good for sharpening tools or rough grinding but they are no where near the grit marked on the disks. The "3000" didn't polish at all. It scratched and abraded.

They're diamond polishing disks
So far so good. We'll see about durability and polishing speed later.

Each disk is within spec of its grit size. I recommend engraving the grit on the disc because the paper will wear away fast
