SkinActive Micellar Foaming Face Wash, For Oily Skin, 6.7 fl oz

I was devastated when my favorite cleanser was recently discontinued, and I've been on a quest since then. I tried the regular micellar water by Garnier, but using it correctly was rough (basically, you can't just swipe it on the way you would a toner; you have to use soaked cotton pads to "wash" the skin like you would use your fingers and hands with a soap cleanser, and that kind of friction on my skin, even with the gentlest cotton, created some redness on my reactive skin). With this gel in-shower product I have found my answer at last! This cleans well but does not strip the skin, which is very important for me and is a feature that many people don't understand. In years past, we've cleaned ourselves with such harsh products that we've learned crave lots of bubbles, lots of slip, a squeaky you-could-eat-food-off-this-body-it's-so-clean kind of feeling…but that is TERRIBLE for our skin! This cleanser helps get the unwanted stuff off the skin, but maintains a healthy moisture barrier and keeps all the good stuff. It's not great removing waterproof makeup, but regular cleansers rarely are; you need special makeup remover solutions for that. But for general day to day use, this is the thing! It's not a thick gel, and one pump will usually suffice for a face full of light makeup and/or sunscreen. Of note, there are two formulas (one in pink and one in green), but the ingredient lists are identical. (Also, I've found that it is miraculous in cutting through that weird film that deodorant leaves behind. In the shower, I wash my face with this, then my pits, and all skin is fresh and happy!)

No skin irritation, cleans my oily skin wonderfully. Good quality. Won’t leave your skin moisturized because it’s for oily skin but won’t dry it out either.

Disclaimer-- I'm using my dad's Amazon account to write this review I absolutely love this cleanser!! I was looking for a gentle cleanser to start out with and I saw this. It was very inexpensive and I love Garnier products. I cannot believe how gentle it is. It doesn't burn or itch. It makes my skin feel clean, but not dry. I use it as a makeup remover at night, and it gets everything by eyeliner. I recently found out that they also sell this for sensitive skin, but I can't imagine it being any gentler! It smells wonderful and does a great job for the money. It only take 1, maybe 2, pumps. I have had a bottle of it for 2 months and I'm only halfway done with it!

I do have sensitive skin and this product worked great. I used it to clean my eyelash extension and if used properly it will not burn your eyes. It was refreshing and the best product I have found yet for that purpose. I did occasionally use it on my face and I loved the product for that as well, also can clean makeup brushes in a pinch! Would, and have bought this product again!

Great for cleaning face.

I love everything about this. Simple to use. I recently discovered it's now available in a smaller size. This and a cotton ball, and I'm good to go. It removes the grit and grime from a hard day's work. It's one of the best products I have found in the forty-odd years of wearing all types of makeup. I recommend it for every skin type at any age. Ladies, I believe you will love it too. Save money and space in one step.

I didn't read clearly enough and thought I was buying the ordinary Garnier micellar water in a very similar package that I've been using for months; still, I figured it would work and went into it with an open mind. This face wash works very well with just a little water to foam it up (I use it in the shower)--it is much gentler on the skin than the normal micellar water and 100% of makeup residue and leaves my skin super smooth and oil-free. That being said, this face wash has a very strong and unpleasant chemical-scent, completely unlike the non-foaming version (which in my experience smells like nothing); I'm super sensitive to scents so I can't get over it. I'll be using the rest of this up, but will definitely be buying the regular micellar water next time.

This is my go to makeup remover because it really cleans my face well removes all my makeup, ( if I don't use it to remove my makeup I get acne breakouts). Its convenient too because it's a face wash so it eliminates a couple of steps with my face routine which is great! It doesn't dry my face after use. It has a mild scent which is good because you don't want too much fragrance for face products which could be bad for sensitive skin. It's a great product works well and is convenient.

Es muy ahorrativo, te dura más o menos 2 meses y te deja la piel muy limpia y suave. No deja sensación de aceite y no deja la piel seca.

amo como limpia mi rostro, mi único detalle es que me arden un poco los ojos pero remueve muy bien el maquillaje
