Replacement Digital Camera Battery for a Nikon EN-EL19 Battery

Good value and last a long time. A battery is a battery, but these are better than the really cheap ones obviously.

I bought this battery to go with my Nikon Coolpix S3400. This replacement battery fits perfectly, charges without fuss and provides the same amount of life as the original battery. The best thing is it is less than half the price of the original battery but quality has not been compromised - you are buying a reputable brand here (Duracell). Recommended.

So far, so good. Works but I have only used it once. The only problem was with delivery but this was sorted by the Company who were great and very apologetic.

Got this to replace a Nikon battery it performs well as to be expected from Duracell.

For full capacity and long life, it's essential to carefully follow the charging and storage instructions (enclosed). FULLY charge before using. Recharge the battery before putting the camera away. Ideally, the battery should be removed before 'storing' the camera, but in real life most of us want to be able to grab the camera for immediate use, so we leave a battery in the camera all the time. BUT, the tiny current taken by the real time clock in the camera slowly discharges the battery; leaving the battery completely flat will damage it: at the least reducing its capacity and shortening its life, quite possibly 'killing' it completely. All Li-Ion batteries need a top-up charge every few months.

It's a battery and it works well. There is a major problem with the design of the original Nikon battery. If the battery is allowed to go completely flat then it is impossible to re charge it. The camera performs some check of the battery before switching to charging mode. If the battery has been left in the camera since the last holiday presumably the internal clock exhausts it. In this exhausted state the camera can't find the battery and will not begin to charge it. My crappy old Olympus of similar vintage and size chugs away quite happily. The Duracell battery so far has performed very well but as a precaution we now take it out after use. It appears to retain its charge indefinitely using it this way. This is her third replacement battery and so far this seems to be the best available.

Les batteries duracell ont pratiquement la même autonomie que l'originale, parfait!

En remplacement des accus d'origine qui n'avaient plus beaucoup d'autonomie. Conforme et 100% compatible avec un NIKON COOLPIX S6600.

Regge l'utilizzo di una mattinata di video e foto. E ancora rimane carica. La ritengo un ottima batteria

Habe mir den Akku als Ersatz bzw. als zweiten Akku gekauft, da ich im Urlaub mehrstündige Attraktionen besuchen wollte. Er passt in meine Nikon Coolpix 3700 einwandfrei rein und hält ca. genauso lang wie der Originalakku. Wie in der Anleitung beschrieben musste ich ihn vor dem ersten Benutzen mehrfach an- und abstöpseln um eine volle Aufladung zu erreichen, von daher ist es gut, dass dies in der Anleitung explizit drin steht. Daumen hoch! Das Preis-Leistung-Verhältnis ist hier wirklich optimal, da ich die selbe Leistung wie bei original Nikon Akkus habe, welche aber gut das Doppelte kosten.
