Worth it for health benefits
The taste on its own is slightly odd at first, but when mixed with a water flavor, undetectable. There is no odor. I use a milk frother to mix. It mixes with zero lumps. There is no weird textural mouth feel.

Don’t buy from this seller!
I’m extremely disappointed with this collagen powder from Vital Proteins. When I opened and mixed it, the product had visible black specks throughout, which is not normal for an unflavored collagen powder. It should be a clean, uniform off-white—not dotted with dark particles. This raised immediate concerns about contamination or spoilage, so I did not feel safe consuming it. A product marketed for health and skin support should meet basic quality standards, and this did not. I would not recommend purchasing this based on my experience. I plan to request a refund and suggest others inspect their product carefully before using.

other collagen products have hard little pebbles left in the bottom of my coffee cup. And many others (Costco carries) have no added vit C which improves the absorption of the collagen.
