I have PCOS, and I’ve been dealing with pH imbalance issues that have been really frustrating because I couldn’t figure out the root cause. I began developing regular UTIs ( due to GSM from perimenopause) about a year ago, followed by BV from antibiotics. After I treated the BV with medication, I started taking cranberry supplements, vaginal estrogen cream, and this probiotic from Jarrow. This combination took awhile to start working, but my GSM had caused my urethral tissue to thin to the point where it was hurting daily, and I began developing pelvic hypertonicity ( painful muscle cramping in the pelvic area). After about two months, my pH started to normalize and I haven't had a UTI since. I still deal with urethral pain in the evening and have a muscle relaxant that helps with that ( thank goodness I finally found something that works for that). The pain has drastically reduced, most probably from the estrogen cream and muscle relaxant combo, but I do feel this probiotic helped ( along with the estrogen cream) build up the good bacteria in the area and balance my pH. Highly recommend if you are in perimenopause or dealing with similar issues to mine.

Expensive but worth it!! I had a 14 hr surgery that shut down my gut. After weeks of vomiting and no appetite, my surgeon suggested this bc it's so high quality and made for women. After two days I FELT BRAND NEW. I took until I felt "regular" again. Totally worth the money.

I have been taking these for about a year. It seems to be beneficial, however, this last delivery, the capsules are much smaller than before. What changed?

If been taking these, daily, for many, many years. They saved my life. They are very effective, and easy! I was taking these since back when it was just the 5 main strains, they've since added 2 more strains, only these are intestinal probiotics. I guess they added them so that it would be a more well rounded capsule. I wish they wouldn't have though bc I used to sometimes use them as an insert. I don't think I would recommend that anymore. Either way, these are the best feminine probiotics available
