I picked this up for additional peace of mind, and it does exactly what it’s supposed to do. Setup was quick and didn’t require any permanent modifications, which makes it great for apartments or rental properties. Once adjusted to the correct length, it feels sturdy and stays in place well. I especially like that it can be used on both standard doors and sliding glass doors. The rubberized ends provide good grip without damaging the floor, and it stores easily when not in use. No security device is a substitute for a good lock, but this adds another layer of protection and makes me feel more comfortable when I’m home or away for extended periods. For the price, it’s a simple and effective security upgrade.

Gives me a great peace of mind. Love the interchangeable pieces to make it an under the handle stick or a stick behind a sliding door. Easy to use and put away. There’s many heights you can change it to. Love this

Works with different doors, but it probably won't work over carpet although I haven't tried it. It takes a minute to figure out how to set it up, but once you have the height set it'll take you five seconds to set it up. I'm not 100% sure how great it would work if someone was actually trying to break in, but I'd recommend this over other door security choices besides maybe an actual security system. For me, it does help with peace of mind though

This is an awesome security device, that is very helpful in other ways too! I recently moved, and being able to prop the door open with this was a godsend. It is wonderful to be able to prop it open for numerous things, without having to maneuver a wedge in and out of place. This takes just a second or two, and boom it's done. I live in an apartment, and I like having an extra lock, that I can remove easily too. The directions say that it works best on a rug or other rough surface, and as I have vinyl floors I put a non-slip mat in front of the door, and that seems to hold it perfectly. I would definitely buy it again!

This product is AWESOME!!!! It’s is very well made & very strong & sturdy. It is worth the reasonable price & definitely adds simple but yet effective security to any door you want to use it for. I highly recommend purchasing this particular product. It even comes with an attachment for windows if not using for a door.

You have to wait longer because it comes directly from China manufacturer. I was worried to be cheated and not get the product. I bought two security protectors. Both came as specified earlier than expected. I opened both packages and was impressed with the top quality and solid construction of the security door protector’s. I will buy again from this vender. American/Canadian and Japanese wife and family living Japan.

EFFICACE

I was attending a week-long workshop in the U.S. and felt nervous about my accommodation because of the media reports. The hosts assured me the area was safe—and it was—but I’m still glad I bought this device. I purchased two, but only brought one due to the weight (it’s a bit heavy if luggage limits matter). It worked perfectly on the door, felt solid and well-built, and even my husband commented on the great quality. If you have any concerns while traveling, this tool is absolutely worth carrying with you.
