Does the bottom of the strainer come off for easier cleaning?

How do you clean the coffee strainer filter. I read that putting coffee grinds down the drain is not a good idea. Is it fairly easy to clean out?

Did the coffee maker jug come with instructions? My box did not include any directions.

No instructions. TikTok taught me. Lol. It’s 1 cup of any coffee - doesn’t have to be cold brew - and then you fill it to the top with water. I like to let it steep in the fridge for 12 hours. It makes it medium/regular strength. When I’m done steeping, I remove the filter and top the jar off with cold water. Ready to serve!

Didn't come with instructions. Not sure how much coffee grounds to use ??

Depending on your needs, the general ratio of water to coffee grounds is 1:11-16. Put it in the refrigerator for more than 12 hours for cold brewing, if you like a strong taste, you can increase the proportion of coffee grounds. Or look online for a ratio that suits you better.

How long does the coffee last before you should dump it?

I think this depends on personal preference. I drink the coffee all week and it tastes great to me. Just keep it in the fridge and have iced coffee whenever you want. A full pitcher lasts me about 4 or 5 days and then I make a new one
