Naifay Double Din Car Stereo with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto

I wanted to get a backup camera for my 2001 F150 SuperCrew. I had a factory radio from 2001 with no screen. I bought a wire harness as well as a kit for my year truck that I didn’t end up needing. I had to modify the dash a bit to have the new unit fit. Was a bit tall but fit perfectly left and right. I wired the new stereo to the harness the evening I received the package. I did a test fit last night when I saw I’d have to take out about 1/2 inch from the top of the existing opening. I modified the fit with a sawzall. I had more to do installing the backup camera but the camera hooked into this head unit just fine. I love the addition of car play and sound quality is beautiful from what I had before. Great manual with this and helps you fine tune the various settings. Touch screen is vivid colors and very responsive. I highly recommend.

Looks good, installed easily with wire kit but this radio is absolute junk. I bought it for my daughter for her birthday and didn’t install it until a few weeks later. At first it worked good for about a week then it would drop calls, disconnect the phone and just turn off randomly. I pulled it out and double checked all connections and wiring schematics. All were done correctly. I reinstalled it and it continues to malfunction. Due to it being a gif for my daughter and not installing it until then I fell outside of the return date. This would be a great unit to install on a car you are selling or trading in but it does not last.

Easy to install radio and rear view camera works well. the first unit that we installed had an issue where when we were connected to Bluetooth we could only get three speakers to work. Radio played all four speakers. Odd issue, but one phone call and we had another unit that worked great. These units that I had were made during Covid-19, so maybe that could have been the issue. Anyway, with great customer service standing behind the product, I am going to purchase another one.

I replaced a radio I had purchased back in 2017 on Amazon with this new one - it boots up really fast and works flawlessly and the Android auto is great. Vast improvement over the older radio, which was slowly losing its functions.

Adequate. I put it in an old project car (GD Impreza) because the old Pioneer unit was single-DIN and I wanted to wire up a camera.Brackets are kind of flimsy. The holes were not aligned properly for me to use my OEM bracket, so I opted to just trim the include ones with some tin snips.It's about what you expect for ~$50. Would suggest spending about $200 or so and stepping up to something from a name brand, but I'm happy enough that I'm not going to rip it out, if that gives you an idea.

This is a great stereo for the money. The screen is large and clear with sharp colors. The touch screen is very responsive and icons are large enough to easily select what you intended while keeping your eyes mainly on the road. The Apple CarPlay feature works great and connects instantly using the USB port located on the front of the stereo allowing hands-free calling and navigation as well as music control. Overall it is perfect for what I wanted and couldn’t be happier with my purchase, especially for the cost and quality!!

Easy to install. Android auto function requires a wired connection but even with a brand new cord will constantly say unstable connection, and the back up camera doesn't have any video. As a regular radio it works but most of what you pay for doesn't function properly
