BIBURY Multitool Pliers 17-in-1

This is the best unit on the market for the money. It's not cheaply made and compares easily and directly to my Leatherman. At $17, this is a steal. I've bought them for gifts, and have purchased 3 for myself. I'm probably going to get another one. They have scissors! Really, at this price, just get it.

I put one of the these in every vehicle I own - this or one like it. Worth every penny.

Use something on it atleast once a day

I ordered a few of these Leatherman clones, including two Biburys. Both had QC issues that made them too big a hassle to be worth even the modest price I paid. The two halves of the multitool in its folded up form didn't line up properly, so when I would unfold it, the action was gritty and the tools were often very difficult to deploy. If you need to use a tool like this it's usually for a quick job and you can't be standing there trying to get another tool to give you leverage to pry out the bit driver, etc. The design is fine but make sure you test yours out in the 30 day return period.

I had high hopes for this entry level multitool. Unfortunately you need a second tool to deploy the attached tools. I am. A large 240lbs man and I actually broke a thumbnail deploying a tool. I don't think it will be usable without lots of WD40, and manipulating the tools and hopefully be less stiff. As a retired Manufacturing Engineer and Aerospace Quality Mgr. I would never allow a customer to receive this product. In fact it is impossible to open the tool with gloves of any kind on. This is sad as I have two other multitools made by this manufacturer that without the problem. I also own two Leatherman multitools, two Gerber, a Sog, and a rocktool, making Bibury the bottom of the tools I have!

I tried to cut a tag off and the metal tension clip for the scissors broke off while cutting the string. Scissors have no use anymore. EDIT: I forgot I left this review, but the seller contacted me promptly after leaving the review and sent a new one out for free. The new ones been a great tool ever since.
