Great for baby, hassle to clean
Love these cups! We now have two. They do occasionally leak, but not often. We love that our baby can get milk from nearly any direction she holds the cups thanks to the weighted straw, and she adjusted to the straw very quickly. Handles are easy for her to grab as well, which has made this a great starter cup after bottles. Only complaint is that the straw is time-consuming to clean, and needs to be washed frequently if you use anything besides water in the cup.

Fair Priced - Granddaughter Loves It
My granddaughter is around 11 months old and of course has been drinking 'normally' for a while. Being the perfect Nanny, my wife invested in one of these Munchkin cups because at her mums she had something similar - and more expensive. Well, at around seven quid I can't complain too much. Ultimately, it's not cheap but cheaper than some of the perhaps more prestigious brands beloved by Mumsnet. My granddaughter finds it easy to use and of course it stops spillages which are an inevitable consequence of dealing with a small human. The internal suction end is weighted and that means no matter what the angle as long as there is some liquid in the cup, it can be used. Easy to clean and ideal for travelling with. Nothing to complain about really.

Perfect .. with one small modification
I was really conscious when buying a cup for my 1yr old that I wanted something that was good for teeth and didn't promote immature mouth development and so I had seen a lot of reviews promoting this cup. Now, it does have a valve in the straw which makes it ridiculously hard for even an adult to drink from but I already knew this and planned to cut the valve. Use a sharp knife or scissors and snip straight across the straw where the valve is (no lower down as you don't want it too short!) And you have a much better product! I'm sure the valve stops any spilling but to be fair it's rare that this one leaks even once I cut the valve. It's worth mentioning that it's actually BENEFICIAL to have a short straw as it teaches babies and toddlers to put the straw at the tip of their tongue rather than fully into their mouth which is how we as adults drink from a straw.

My son loves it
The packaging was really good. Loved how neat they looked. My son did not have any problem using this bottle - I removed the small plastic bit at the bottom of the straw which most people don’t notice and realised that the boy drinks really well. He loves the bottle intact. The only downside is that when he shakes the bottle The milk froths and ends up creating pressure inside the bottle. That then leaks through the straw. He learned the trick and drops milk everywhere. But otherwise it’s a good bottle. 👍🏼

My second purchase
These bottles are real life savers. Made from good quality material so there's no leaks ever. Easy to hold and lift. Easy to clean (a very little brush to clean the straw is included). Can be washed in the dishwasher (top shelf) apart from the plastic cover - I wash it manually.

Love it
My 8 month old is able to drink from this very easily. No spills as promised. I wash ask the parts in the dishwasher. It does come with a tiny brush to wash by hand. All in all my little one loves it.

Leaks everywhere
Got this cup as my toddler loves a straw. Read that it was click lock and no leaks which is not true. With in 5/10 mins of first use it has leaked everywhere. Lid is on securely and has clicked. This product is faulty and does not work as advertised.

Rubbish to suck
My 10 mth old struggled to get anything from this & yes I took it apart and look for anything that could’ve been obstructing the hole, there wasn’t. Gave it a go myself & it almost took my lung out to get a little bit. Saw on here where someone said they ended up cutting theirs so I did the same. Worked like a charm after that. However my little one still won’t drink anything water from this. He’s bf and the plan was to use this for expressed milk & other substitutes when he turns one but he’s not having it so the hunt continue for a sippy cup that he’ll take milk from.

Best straw bottle and loving it! Lightweight but good quality; able to withstand daily throwing by my 1-year-old. Easy to wash and no issues with mold (kept getting mold for pigeon sippy straw bottle). Recently started using a 2nd bottle for fresh milk at infant care (he rejects milk bottles) and he had no transition problem taking milk from it. Thumbs up!

Im a big fan of muchkin products and this one is another big hit. My bb loves drinking from it. He is a little biter and nibbles on the straw often but till now no damage to it. He throws it almost everyday and still no crack or chip. Its a very good quality product like all other Muchkin products

A lot of reviews I’ve read seem to be user error. My 12 month old drinks from this cup very easily in almost any position and loves it. And after figuring out a few things, I think it is nearly perfect. Let’s clear up a few things other reviews have complained about, so you will love your new cup too. 1. It leaks/bubbles out cold liquid when taken out of the fridge. -This is not a design flaw but just a physics reaction. Yes, if you take the cup from the fridge to room temp, the cold air inside the cup expands as it warms pushing out a bit of liquid from the straw. Very simple solution is to simply unscrew the top for a minute (maybe less!) so that as the air expands in room temp, and liquid isn’t pushed up and out of the straw. Seriously, try it. Very simple solution once you realize why it is happening. 2. The valve in the straw make is very difficult to drink out of. -I thought this at first as well. Please do not cut the valve out as other reviews have suggested. The valve is meant to be compressed from front to back (top to bottom) as toddler is drinking, and once compressed slightly, offers nearly no resistance to drinking. When not compressed, keeps your cup leak proof. 3. Difficult to clean. -You can also compress this valve front to back, to insert cleaning brush provided and to allow water to rinse through it easily while cleaning. Knowing how to use the valve makes cleaning very simple. 4. Not leak proof when turned upside down. -I think this has to do with improper straw and stopper placement. You must pull the straw through until it clicks into place and make sure the stopper connected to the straw is firmly placed over the air hole at the top of the lid. Then, no matter how my toddler carries it around, it never leaks when upside down. Also, make sure the lid is screwed on until the handles click over the bumps on the side to lock it on. It is easy to not screw the top on enough if you don’t know it needs to click in place to lock. I’m sure a few cup will be made with defects and this won’t fix everyone’s problems, but I think a bit more knowledge of how to use the cup properly would solve most of the complaints listed about the cup. User error seems to be the biggest problem with these cups. The only minor draw back I’ve noticed is occasionally getting flicked with liquid when my son finishes drinking and flicks the straw out of his mouth at me. But I think that will get better with time. *Please don’t let the negative reviews keep you from buying and loving this cup. Just take a minute to learn how to use it to its best potential and I think you will love this cup too!
