There are cheaper tubs on Amazon that do the same exact thing. This tub does not add any extra benefit vs another “polar tub”. We paid just under $90 for this one, and I found another with similar reviews at $45 and they’re made of the same material with the same functions. One adult used this daily for 3 weeks before the blow up top ring burst. The top ring no longer holds air and the hole is too large to patch. The description stated it was suitable for outdoor use, and that’s where it has been, it received regular cleaning and maintenance. We took great care of it. We talked our neighbors into buying the same tub, and their ring burst after the first clean/refill. they kept their tub indoors. I’m not sure environment was a factor, but the tub is not worth the money with cheaper options out there. My kids have blow up pool toys that have weathered the elements longer and are more durable. You’ll have better luck spending either less money for similar quality. Or more money on something more durable. Editing to add: The company reached out very quickly after my original disappointed review, which was unexpected but welcomed. They emailed us offering a refund or a new tub! We chose the new tub as we enjoy the product and functionality. We’re hopeful it’ll hold up. Regardless of the outcome, with customer service like this, the price becomes well worth it! The company stated after my initial review that we may have received a faulty product and that they stand by their quality. after receiving the replacement tub, I also agree and stand by their quality. changing my review to 5 stars. with the quick and amazing customer service, the quality of the product, and the price, it was all worth it.

We purchased the Polar Recovery Tub Portable Ice Bath for our son, who plays both high school football and baseball, and it's been a game-changer for his recovery routine. The setup was straightforward, and the tub is spacious enough for him to fully submerge comfortably. After intense practices and games, he uses it to reduce muscle soreness and inflammation, and he’s noticed a significant improvement in his recovery times. This is a great looking pod for cold plunging. It sets up quickly, and has everything you need to get started. Our whole family uses our plunge, so it’s a variety of sizes. I’m around 6 feet tall and 220. My son in the photo is 6’1” and 167. The water level is where it is, in order to not overflow when I plunge. I can not plunge any deeper than he is in the photo, he could probably fully immerse, if the water level were higher. We keep our plunge on the lanai, and I don’t want water flooding out each time. We are using the Vevor 1/4 HP chiller. It got the water down to 61 degrees the first night. It started at 88 degrees. It’s very hot here in south FL. The second night it got down to 56 degrees. I think for this to be a cost effective option, and to reach colder temps, it’ll require additional insulation. The layers of material do seem to provide some insulation, but not nearly enough. The pod sweats a lot all day long. We really like the concept of this plunge, but I think we need a larger one. Mostly because of my size. If only one person is using it, or if it doesn’t matter if it spills over, the size won’t matter. It’s really not completely important to us. But I really want the option to fully immerse, and not spill water over. It’s a good tub, and a fine option, as long as the few compromises to adversely impact your situation.

This cold plunge has been a fantastic addition to my wellness routine! I'm impressed with its design; it looks very professional once assembled and fits nicely on my patio and in my garden without being intrusive. The price point is excellent – so good, in fact, that I'm tempted to buy a second one to share the experience with others! It's also very easy to maintain. Performance-wise, it held ice for about an hour in direct sun on a hot day, and overnight, the ground temperature effectively cooled the water. For upkeep, I highly recommend chlorinating the water (about a tablespoon of chlorine) and using a litmus test to monitor the chlorine PPM. With proper research and care, this cold plunge seems like it's built to last a lifetime!

What I love most is the size — I’m 6ft tall and had struggled with other ice baths that were just too small or too shallow. This one gives me enough room to sit in fully submerged without feeling cramped, which makes a huge difference for recovery. Setup was quick, and the insulation holds the cold very well. Highly recommend for anyone taller or looking for a bit more space than the average plunge tub offers.

As a family we wanted to improve our mental and physical health. I heard a lot about ice bath therapy and decided to buy one for father's Day knowing that everyone in the family would use and benefit from it. The Polar Recovery Tub was very reasonably priced and the only tub I could find with 12 months warranty. My husband was thrilled to receive his tub but unfortunately there was a tiny hole at the very top which only leaked when the water level increased when the tub was occupied. I contacted the seller, who instantly replied reassuring me of a replacement. I had several messages keeping me informed of my replacement, tracking information etc. I have never experienced customer service quite like this. Amazing! This is why we should support small businesses as they look after their customers. I can't tell you how impressed I am of their level of service. I would recommend them whole heartedly. The tub, is incredibly easy to put together, it takes up little space In the garden. It comes with an elasticated lid that keeps bugs and leaves out, a floating thermometer, water outlet spout with hose and pump for inflating the comfortable ring around the top of the tub. It's incredibly sturdy and very spacious inside. We are already enjoying the benefits of the tub and only wish I'd bought one sooner.

I spent ages researching and looking into the various brands / sizes / thickness etc and 'plunged' for the Polar Recovery Tub. VERY happy I did. Took literally 5 mins to put together - nice and sturdy, great quality fabric and does the job, even for my 6ft 4 partner! So far the water has kept really ice cold, even with the sun out so happy with that. I LOVE too the fact that its a cool, attractive grey/white/turquoise which blends beautifully into our garden, not like the many black alternatives, that look quite ugly and wheelie-bin like! All in all, a great quality, sizeable, super value tub, with fab customer service too from all at Polar Recovery. You can't go wrong with one of these.

Best item I have ever bought. Used for months now, plunging daily. Sturdy and does the job. Holds water temperatures well. This is priced well compared to "brand name" ones always advertised on social media.
