My husband loves this lighter. He likes to show it off and everyone else loves it when they see it too. It burns well, looks cool and the flashlight is bright and convenient. It lights in the wind like a torch lighter but there’s not a huge flame that could burn your facial hair off like with the traditional torch lighters. It’s like a cool little flat lightsaber lighter with no real flame. The only downfall, if you can even call it that, is it needs to be charged 1-2 times a week depending on how often it is used. It doesn’t seem like a lot but when you’re used to just grabbing a regular bic lighter that never needs charging, it can be a bit inconvenient when you go to use it and it’s dead. But overall it’s a great lighter and we love it and recommend it. You just have to get used to charging it on a regular basis. Pictured next to a regular bic lighter for size comparison.

Exactly as advertised!! Excellent product and the flash light, originally I thought tags ridiculous, but now that I have it, the number of times I’ve used it is ridiculous lol. It’s freaking awesome and very handy to have!!! As far as shipping goes, I kid you not it was same day delivery!! NEVER had that happen!

This is smaller than it appears in the photos, which is a good thing. I wasn't sure if it would be bulky in my pocket. It's not. I am glad I got this version with a flashlight. The plasma works beautifully well. Would 100% buy again. I love the fact I can keep recharging this via USB without having to buy fuel. It's 100% waterproof. What a great invention. I also like the fact that the plasma ends are pointing outward, rather than inward at each other. That makes lighting things so much easier. Great value for the money, would buy again!

I like the fact this is reusable and there's no waste. The lighter functions just fine and is easy to use. Just understand that the electrical arc style has limitations, mostly in regards to reach and angle between the lighter and whatever you're trying to light. There must be direct contact with the face of the lighter. In contrast with a butane lighter, you can't direct a flame down or at an angle (think lighting a BBQ or a propane flame). Easy enough fix is to light a stick or something else on fire first, and then use it to push into whatever you intend to light.

After the battery died I put it on charge and it will not take a charge at all even left it on for 2 days will no longer work. So keep in mind you may be paying for only 200 lights for the price and that it. Battery did last long enough so that you will be outside of your return cut off though. So please consider this review when buying this item. So the seller reached out and explained the one I got my have been defective. They sent me a replacement and I have waited until it died to verify if I could recharge it and it seems to be working without issue. Support was great most companies after they are out from the return date wont help this seller went above and beyond to fix the issue.

The battery life on the item I received was pretty terrible. It seemed it could run the flashlight on dim for only an hour or so. The plasma feature is what I really got it for, but the lack of extender really limits its utility. Getting my fingers that close to whatever I'm trying to ignite can create difficulties for all kinds of applications. For example, lighting candles is pretty awkward, since you have to get quite a bit of bulk close to a small target. Additionally, I wouldn't dare use this to light charcoal or anything with an accelerant on it; you need to light something else on fire first to avoid burning yourself. But lighting other things, like paper, isn't as easy as you might think: the plasma heats up a small enough area that it can be a challenge to keep the paper/kindling lit. The flashlight doesn't remember its last setting, so I also found myself constantly cycling through all of the modes to get to the one I always want, and one of those modes you have to go through is an annoying flash mode. I kept mine, because it does work for emergencies, but ended up happier with one that has an extendable plasma end and no flashlight, since the flashlight on this was basically useless and I can just get a really nice small one elsewhere.
