Balsa wood stripper
Well made item very sturdy and comfortable to use.Comes with one No 11 scalpel blade so order a box with it because if you are cutting balsa wood or other soft wood it won't stay sharp very long.A bit pricey for what it is but you can set it to the scale you need and get consistent cuts without having to measure and use a straight edge which can be unreliable.

I Wish i had bought one of thease years ago, simple little gadget to cut balsa sheet into strips, it has fully ajustable width control. although designed for aeroplane Balsa i use it for Bass wood or obeachi on my model boats , just dont expect too much take it easy and it cuts just fine.

It is not metric.
Reasonable well made, blade holding is poor with a thin piece of plastic to hold the blade. When in use the blade moves to an angle. Had to buy a Phillips No 2 screwdriver to tighten and loosen the screws. Being American the adjusting screw is imperial!!

Works as advertised
Very pleased with this small tool, I tested it by making some 1.5mm square strips which were produced very simply. The supplier, Hobbybase include postage in the price and it came today having been ordered late on the 4th. Entirely satisfied thank you.
