Three legs,five stars.
This has to be the best tripod I've purchased in 39 years I've been doing photography. Solid build easy control and lovely smooth movement with the head. Really great value for your money, just buy one and you know what I mean.

Very good all rounder for the price
I have been a professional photographer for just over 10 years and have used a huge variety of tripods and monopods ranging in price and quality. The tripod itself is very light, compact when down to its smallest size - it just looks good and feels like a professional tripod - if you are out with clients on location, it certainly wont do you wrong and it feels at home with a professional studio set up. The colour scheme as well as the sponge like grips add an extra feel of confidence when your holding it and add a little bit more to the professional look. I tested the tripod with a cannon 5dmkIII fitted with a 50mm/1.8 and a 70-200/2.8 outdoors and the shots where sharp and there was very little movement when there was a strong wind. In the studio, its perfect, smooth action on the ball head with very easy adjustments. Very impressive indeed. Its worth noting that everything is adjusted through screw type adjustments which not everyone likes, and whether these will loosen grip over time remains to be seen. For the price, you cant go wrong, yes there are a few niggles here and there and the small hip pouch thing for it isnt recommended to use if you dont like things being bashed on your hip every time you take a step, but if you want something that's solid and reliable then i would recommend it without a doubt. Its also worth getting the longest version as the next size down is just a little too short for my liking! Any further questions then please ask!

Great value
Very pleased, lightweight, packs up to a easily portable size in a well made carry bag and supports my Canon 1300 D with my big lens, also carries my 100 mm spotting scope with ease. All I all a great purchase. Having had this for a little while now, and it really is one of the best tripods for ease of use and carrying around with you, you will not be disappointed with this.

Does the job
Casual use is ok.. edit: monopod does not feel strong at all, used for a party on the weekend with dslr and 70-200 lens.

Very pleased with build quality - feels solid and well engineered ...
Very pleased with build quality - feels solid and well engineered especially at the leg hinges- a friend saw me unpack the tripod and was impressed at the quality and with the tripod head too - we both feel it's a good buy for the price - we both walk to remote locations for amateur landscape or wildlife photography and are looking forward to using our tripods

Excellent outcome from a very happy customer :-)
Okay so I'd previously given this purchase a 2 star rating because there was a fault with the original product received, but also because I wasn't happy with the service when trying to rectify the problem. TO MY DELIGHT, the seller got back in touch with me earlier this week and sent me a free replacement that appears to do exactly what it says on the product description, and it arrived within three days! I am very happy with my new tripod monopod and I would like to thank HST MALL for their rectifying the issue. It's light enough to take on treks and I love the versatility of being able to separate it into a monopod. As a novice photographer this is exactly what I was looking for :-)

One leg isn't sturdy and slips forwards
Overall, it looked great and sturdy and then I noticed that one of the front legs would slowly slide forwards even when I push the button, that is supposed to lock the leg in place, as far as it will go in. Perhaps it's because the tripod is on a reasonably slipperywooden floor where I am testing it but I still don't like it that it is doing that as it completely knocks my composition off especially for long exposures (the other two are fine)
