The textsurfer highlighters are designed so that they should not smudge inkjet print or hand written inks as with some of the traditional highlighters. I hope this is helpful.

Will they bleed through to the other side?

with a single line? no. if you go over the line a bunch? yes.

Does this last long like stablio boss?

I find that staedtler lasts longer than stablio boss. I use my highlighters daily, several times a day...and all the colours. (Admittedly I am a bit obsessive about highlighting.) Stablio boss couldn't match my needs. Staedtler always does... amazing really how long they last.
