Powerful, Smooth, and Built to Last I’ve been using the DEWALT DWE6423-GB 240V Eccentric Sander for several weeks now, and it’s quickly become a staple in my workshop. It strikes the perfect balance between power, control, and ergonomics — all hallmarks of a tool built for both professionals and serious DIYers. Build quality is excellent, as expected from DEWALT. The body is solid with a low-vibration design that noticeably reduces hand fatigue during extended use. The variable speed control (between 8,000–12,000 OPM) gives great versatility whether you’re removing material quickly or finishing fine details. Dust extraction is impressive. When connected to an extractor, the sander leaves minimal cleanup and keeps the workspace clean — essential for indoor projects or finishing work. The integrated dust bag is decent, but for best performance, a proper extractor is recommended. The 125mm pad with hook-and-loop fastening holds discs securely and makes for quick changes. It handles everything from hardwood to painted surfaces without bogging down or overheating. If I had to nitpick, it’s that the it should have come with 1 sanding pad which was missing. Fortunately Amazon was also selling 120 pad bundles so got that with prime and was sanding the next day. Verdict: Reliable, powerful, and well-designed — the DWE6423-GB is a fantastic choice for anyone looking for a high-performance orbital sander. Whether you’re prepping timber, smoothing filler, or fine-finishing furniture, it handles the job with confidence.

Used this type of sander for the first time today. I used it to prepare the room prior to painting and was very impressed with the performance and speed. It enabled me to do the job in half the time I have taken in the past. It is noisy, although I did have it connected to a vacuum, and ear defenders are essential. I found it very easy to maneuver around shaped wood saving lots of manual sanding. Well worth the money.

Great sander, I use it daily in my workshop and it replaced a cordless Dewalt RO sander. It’s lighter than the cordless so a little more comfortable to use for extended periods. It was very quiet when new but has gradually become noisier after a couple of months use. The speed control is in the wrong place and can easily be knocked by accident.

Bought this as my old/cheap sander didn’t have a compatible dust extraction port for my vacuum. First impressions were great. Less vibration, faster sanding and a decent length power cord. It was when I finished sanding, just using the small collecting bag, that I noticed the biggest difference. The amount of dust it has captured was amazing. Sooo much compared to my old sander (which collected next to nothing!). Almost negates needing to connect it to the vacuum but will do as suspect that’ll end up with next to no dust going elsewhere. Great tool and well worth the extra money over other quality brands

I’m not one for leaving reviews but felt I definitely had to for this big guy lol.After seeing guys review that mentioned dust bag I decided to buy & I’m sooo grateful he left that review!!!Bought 2 cheaper mouse sanders,both were ok for a bit then useless so plz don’t waste ure money like me & just buy this 1.Now I’m a female & not very strong but this was still ok & not too heavy.As soon as I started sanding I could see the difference straight away.I used correct grit for all sanders so it’s definitely not my knowledge of diffent grit it’s the actual machine.I bought the pack that Amazon recommends with the big pack of sanding discs & hoover attachment,glad I did as there are no discs with the machine at all & it’s a box with an awful lot in it.I was spending £13 for a 6 pack from B & Q for mouse ones & they weren’t lasting as long as these ones do so saving me a fortune in discs alone.Now the biggest difference for me is definitely having the dust bag that actually works.No it doesn’t take it ALL away (be reasonable lol ) there was a slight dusting in the room where I was sanding but no where near as much as the others.The machine isn’t as loud as other 2 so my son & partner aren’t complaining about noise which is a miracle lol,good job cause I’ve got 14 doors in my hall including cupboards between upstairs & downstairs so we’ll see if it lasts the pace.Guys just buy buy buy this 1,save ureselfs money in the long run.True saying u buy cheap u buy twice 🥳

It felt tiny bit heavier than I thought. But, it’s very good. Easy to use. Defo recommend to hook up a vacuum to it, as there’s pretty much no dust flying around then. Cable length is decent. Worth the money.

Surpris de recevoir le produit avec une prise UK pour un produit FR dans la description. Et bien sûr plus en stock et beaucoup plus cher. Je dois donc acheter un adaptateur ce qui rend le prix moins intéressant et surtout mettre en attente mes travaux. Rien à dire sur le produit car je ne peux pas encore le brancher ....

Il prodotto è buono per una fascia da hobbysta avanzato, è davvero ben fatta e molto resistente. Attenzione però alla spina che è di tipo inglese ( probabilmente è anche scritto ma nn lo visto) quindi procuratevi un adattatore e non tagliate la spina altrimenti si perde la garanzia 👍🏻
