Was scaring myself with all sorts of fears regarding leaks and impurities. Instead I got a high-quality lamp fuel and an above-average gauged container to keep it in. Very Nice.

Methanol was recommended to me to remove char (sooty residue left by laser engraving) on steel tumblers. The problem was its kind of difficult to find. Found it on Amazon for a good price and had it 2 days later. It works fast and reliably. Be careful and read product warnings regarding storage and usage. Storage safety is tantamount.

Overall I got exactly what was advertised however in shipping the seal seems to have broke and the lid was not fully on the bottle. I got maybe 75% of the total volume I expected to get and between that and the fact that the lid wasn’t fully on(which would’ve likely protected against the seal puncture and prevented leaking) I have to take a star off. It’s not necessarily the sellers fault since this could’ve happened in shipping, but it also could’ve been checked before packaging to ensure the cap was fully on so that if something happened in shipping it would’ve have resulted in lost volume

Use for your vehicles meth injection. Mix 50/50 with distilled water for half the price of the pre-mixed commercial brands.

I bought these bottles rather than one big gal bottle so storage was not a problem. The methanol tends to absorb moisture so didn't want an open bottle laying around for months. I use them for mixing up my own water methanol mixture to spray into my engine to help eliminate spark knock when at the drag strip. Item was packed well and shipped promptly will be ordering more as needed.
