Best airbrush I have ever used for large area coverage by a wide margin. 6 stars!
I specifically bought this airbrush because I started spraying Tru-Color solvent based acrylics and I just wasn't happy with the finish I was getting using conventional airbrushes on large surfaces. These are my Iwata HP-C and HP-CH. With the HP-TH, right out of the box with minimal tuning and no paint thinning experimentation I was able to get glass like finishes. 30 PSI and 50/50 paint to thinner ratio. Using the MAC valve I was able to dramatically reduce overspray and lay down a heavy, even, beautiful coat that covered my base color in a few passes. I can't say enough about the quality of the finish you can achieve with this product. This is not a fine detail spray gun, it's not meant to be. This is definitely a coverage gun and it is by far the best I've used for large surfaces on scale models. It is literally a miniature automotive sprayer right down to the rotatable flat spray nozzle. If you have ever used a professional automotive gravity feed paint gun this will all be very familiar. If I could give this thing more than 5 stars I would!

Sold as new but is actually used
Item was advertised as new. Box was opened, and gun was still on the gun. Needle was blunted and the airbrush had blemishes.

Amazing
I use it for createx primer and to spray metallics. It states .5mm tip but is much larger than the other iwata .5mm airbrushes i have. Worth every single penny. Just get the grip for it.

Great for blowins
We do alot of large paint jobs on boats in single stage polyurethane, it's hard not to get the odd defect so this little touch up gun works great for keeping the repairs small and manageable. I've used alot of cheaper air brush guns and they won't withstand gun wash, so far this one has had no issues!

Am engineering marvell
Clean lines, smooth operation. Has its place right the middle of the artist's toolset. Needs a thicker handle though, but you can buy it for $30.
