Very solid
I have been working on a major bathroom remodel with a full DIY mentality to try and save costs. Originally, I wanted to include shut off valves for the shower to help with testing and make sure it all is set up correctly, but when I saw the cost of valves and fittings, I rethought my designs. That is, until I came across these. Since I'm using Pex-A, these valves fit exactly like the other connections I've used and I can discretely position them in an access panel without adding extra fittings (and extra cost) that I would have had if I went with the other option from the local home store. This is a perfect solution to the situation I was facing and will work well for my needs. I love the quarter turn valves the connection feels secure. Plus, at a lower cost than the home store and delivered to my door, it's a win all around.

Not a bad valve
I'm using this pair of valves to control the water flow through my chiller when I'm homebrewing beer. It gets the job done and that's the important thing. However, these feel a bit lightweight and I'm not confident they'll hold up over time, especially if there's a little leftover water left in them that might corrode the insides. Nevertheless, these are a good value and do what they're supposed to do.

Does Not Fit My PEX
Overall, the valves seem to be of fair quality. The issue is that they don't fit any of my pex pipe. They are too small for 3/4" and too large for 1/2". The reason I got the valves is because it says PEX. I know it says PEX-A, but according to Sharkbite, PEX-A, B, & C are all dimensionally the same. It's the burst strength and manufacturing materials that are different unless I'm missing something. So either, the ones I received are not dimensionally correct, or the title needs to be a little more specific. In fact, it's the only pex valve I've ever gotten that didn't fit.

You need to use a PEX expander on these.
I didn't notice any of the other reviewers mention this: "Need to Order Expander tool + Pex Sleeves / Ring separately". That tool/rings are over $80. I missed that detail so these do not work for me. The barb is too large to fit 1/2" PEX pipe without expanding. They may be well made but I couldn't use them. I gave it 2 stars because it is not stated clearly enough that you need to have the expander tool.

Appear to be well made
I needed a couple ball valves to shut the water off going to my outside faucets. Normally I would just purchase shutoff valves for this type of application however the area where these will be mounted is very space limited and operating the handles on a normal shutoff valve would have been difficult if not impossible. These shutoffs however have smaller than normal handles making them perfect for their intended application. The valves look well-made and the price was better than normal shut offs. This coupled with shorter handles made them a no brainer for my project.

Did Not Fit
Unfortunately this valve is too large for my application. Not the 1/2” as described.
