Can these be frozen once pack opened?

Hi Robert. I’ve never frozen uncooked gnocchi before but I do believe that you can do it. I would do it myself. I normally cook the whole bunch and eat leftovers later.

Gnocchi is an ambient product and needs to be stored in the cupboard before opening.

How long can the product be kept in cupboard i.e. average shelf life?

These vacuum packed items have an average use by date of 6 months, once opened best to use in 3-4 days. As a chef I find it best to keep in an air tight container once opened as the gnocchi can dry and become hard. I usually rehydrate each portion of 12-16 depending on appetite in a pan of boiling salted water for 1 minute before adding to your dish/sauce. This process allows the gnocchi to slightly soften and gives you a starch based stock if you need to let your dish/sauce loosen a fraction.
