PhysKcal 4/5/6 ft Olympic Barbell, EZ Curl Bar for 2 Inch Weight Plates

Been using the daily for about 3 months. Bearings spin great and have little play. The finish is fantastic. Unlike oxidized finished products this doesn’t rust and is very robust. No wear in the finish at all. You will need a set of bar clamps but if you already have some it’s no issue. Highly recommended 💪

I love this bar - I've used an EZ bar for many years but wanted one for my home gym. The main exercise I use them for is curl - the straight bar puts too much strain on my wrists so using the EZ bar alleviates that problem. The bar itself is of high quality and the 2 inch sleeves are perfect for olympic size weights. The bar weighs 10kg (with spring collars), based on the scales I used to weigh them. The knurl of the bar is prominent ensuring a non-slip grip, although they certainly keep your calluses fresh! Close grip and wide grip are comfortable when using the bar and you can feel the tension on the biceps during curls. I also use this bar for upright rows to minimise the strain on the wrists and can say with confidence that it has improved my technique and should strength. Highly recommend this bar!

Super solid quality. Finish is fantastic. Chunky weight in itself. Great addition to your home gym. Recommended. Can say enough about the quality of this EZ bar.

Surprisingly high quality and comfortable to use EZ-Curl Bar. Brilliant for Lying Pull-Over Extensions / Lying Tricep Extensions and Bicep Curls. Looks good too. Some people have commented that the bar sleeves are short. Yes they are short compared to a full length 7ft Olympic barbell. But how much weight do you really need for strict bicep curls and tricep extensions? Personally the most I ever used was 55kg and there's more than enough room for that with this bar.

Great EZ bar at a great price. Bearings work well and the angle of the hand holds is perfect. Only thing worth bearing in mind is that with a standard sized collar you'll only get 3 plates on each side. Other than that, works great, looks great, does the job!

1) very well packaged, including protections at the end of the bar within the "tube" 2) includes a page of instructions for maintenance/cleaning 3) generally stunning bar on all aspects (no paint issue, no scratch etc...) 4) Smooth rotation of the sleeves I am delighted especially with the black Friday discount. Note that the sleeves are not smooth like on the pictures, they are slightly grooved (not a problem). I will attach a picture once I am allowed to use it freely after my birthday (today was just checking it was all good). Will definitely buy again from PhysKcal. PS: bought the "same" bar from another supplier (starts with S) and immediately returned it: angles of the curl area were too flat, the rotation of the sleeve was poor and it was making a clunky sound. got refunded but they seemed surprised of the return despite showing on a video the issue (comparing to 4 other bars which are perfect). So conclusion...don't buy at too low a price.

I had been trying to do various exercises like bicep curls using a full length straight barbell but it is cumbersome and you cannot get a good range of motion when gripping a straight bar (for curls anyway). I finally decided I would treat myself to this bar when it was on offer and after having some initial reservations (I have way too much training kit that does not get used) I am pleased that I bough it. If you work out at home regularly then it is worth investing in a barbell like this as it really makes your workout more pleasant (if thats possible - you get my point I hope). It is a solid piece of equipment and will hopefully last years if looked after.

In my opinion, the knurling is to aggressive for a curl bar. It tears up the palms. Will probably adjust that aspect. Otherwise a good bar.

Gekauft habe ich die Stange weil sie so gut aussieht. ABER....sie trainiert sich auch sehr gut. Bizepscurls, SZ Schöpfen, French Press, egal welche Übung die Stange liegt gut in der Hand und das Kugellager macht alles noch flüssiger als bei herkömmlichen SZ Stangen ohne Kugellager. Die Stange selbst hängt sichtbar an der Wand und ist ein absoluter Blickfang wenn man den Raum betritt.
