Don Felder plays on this dvd, his guitar duet with Joe Walsh on Hotel California is brilliant. The reproduction is not too good, probably because of the terrible storm but by the third number, you forget that and get into enjoying the whole thing. You get what you pay for
Having read other reviews of this dvd I knew what to expect when my copy arrived. Sound AND vision are not great but I've seen worse. I was at the Hell Freezes Over tour and this is a good record of that. Some people have suggested this might be a bootleg but what makes me think otherwise is the inside of the dvd case. It contains a photo of Walsh, Henley, Frey and Schmidt. Absolutely no sign of Felder. That to me suggests it could be a poorly made but official dvd. Frey and Henley fell out with Felder not long after the Hell Freezes Over tour and sacked him. That's why, I believe, that Felder's photo doesn't appear on the case which was made in 2008.

A Rainy Night in Christchurch,
Part of The Eagles "Hell Freezes Over Tour" from Christchurch New Zealand November 1995,Unfortunately This is a very dark rainy night on stage, which does nothing for the atmosphere of the show there,.Its continually, dark, wet, and raining throughout,!!! However fans of the Eagles will not be dissapointed with the musicianship 19 songs from their repotoire performed with their usual profesionalism and enthusiasm,Features the now ex Eagle-member Don Felder on joint lead guitar with joe walsh,a "treat" on its own,no one can replace Felder in my opinion. Glenn Frey remarks at the end, "our first visit to New Zealand" and "we wont forget Christchurch,"!!!{the weather} worth a watch,...good value for money here.

Es gab mal eine Live-Aufzeichnung der Eagles im Fernsehen (3-SAT) aus dem Jahr 1975 oder 1976. Es war die Hotel California Tour bei einem Auftritt in San Franzisko. Die Tonqualität dieser alten Aufnahme war erheblich besser als die hier. Diese DVD ist ihr Geld nicht wert. Meine erste richtige Enttäuschung im Bereich von Live-DVDs.
