Cotswold Dandelion Coffee(Non-Instant) 100 g (Pack of 5)

Being a coffee addict I wasn’t sure if I’d like this but I really do. It has a slight coffee taste but it’s really lovely to drink plus it’s caffibe free. I grind it in my coffee grinder put a small teaspoon amount in a mug and pour on boiling water stir and add milk. Also it has helped to detox my kidneys so all in all I’m delighted

I use dandelion coffee for the health benefits and like that nothing else is added into the ingredients just contains dandelion root. I make it in a cafetiera, let it brew for about 4 minutes or more before drinking. The longer it is brewed, the stronger the taste that is similar to coffee.

So happy to discover this coffee! It came on time in a small plastic bag inside the box that's shown in the picture (sadly the bag is only half the size of the box so was smaller than I thought it was going to be). It really does taste like coffee, we love the flavour! I use about a teaspoon to grind in a mortar&pestle (just a little bit) then boil with a small cup of water in a turkish coffee pot. Shame it's not organic but still hoping it is better than drinking coffee and that it will help with my health. I might try some other products in the future which might be organic or cheaper but wanted to start with Cotswold as I saw a few people mentioning this one tasting better than others so now I can compare taste and quality.

this is a fantastic non caffeine natural alternative for coffee. I tried many similar products buy this is the best. lovely rich dark and smooth. no bitter after taste

after reading reviews how great it is and that some coffee lovers found it good enough to replace their coffee i ordered 8 boxes. The first cup...oh my! never have I tasted as disgusting! Perhaps Chinese medicine is the only that can compare. A word of warning to those who hope to go healthy and is dandelion... do not kid yourself! There are no short cuts. If you truly want to go healthy you have to sacrifice. I have to be hones I am not ready for such a step but since I got 8 boxes I had to find the way to drink this awful bitter thing. My way is to mix it with a high quality coffee that I am used to. I know it is an act of treason but it gives me some comfort that i combine healthy with delicious. The taste of coffee is not the same it does taste bitterer but still it is very much bearable and i am nearly through with my 8 boxes. Will I buy it again? I don't know...

After using another brand of instant dandelion coffee which was quite enjoyable, but not to be found for sale anywhere, so I thought I would try this. Did not like the taste at all and so it was a complete waste of money!

I've been using this coffee alternative for a while so I knew what I was purchasing; just couldn't find it through local health food stores. It has a 'robust' flavour in a different way to coffee beans. Not bitter at all. I will continue to use it.
