We bought this bar for my son who has autism. It is very sturdy. You can hook up almost any swing that you want to, including all the Rain Day Swing and even other brands of toddler swings. Any swing that will fit in your doorway basically. I think its one of the best buys we made for our sons OT needs. It can even hold me and my son at the same time which I love. It basically will fit in any standard doorway and you can move it around the house as needed, it isn't that difficult to install. We have had it for almost a year now, and we love it and use it daily still.

I wish I had bought this product sooner. My baby is 10 months old right and son is 4.5 years old. I bought this bar to install a swing in between the kitchen and living room for times when my husband is traveling and it is just me in the evenings taking care of the kids by myself. This bar allowed me to put up a little tykes swing up in minutes. Not only was the baby extremely pleased with the swing she even fell asleep in it. A double victory!! I have not tried any attachments for the bar but will most likely be getting some for my 4 year old now. I am an extremely satisfied customer. Granted that the product is expensive but it was worth it for me to have time to cook dinner while the baby sleeps!! We do not have a door jamb. I installed it in the opening between the two rooms. I bought this support bar an a swing. My autistic kid loves it. It helps him with his sensory needs when we can't go outside. It's gets used everyday. When he's having a hard time waiting for everyone to get ready to leave the house he can go swing an keep calm. I would give it 5 stars but I think the support bar is over priced. I think it's only so expensive because it's bought by parents of autistic or special needs kids that NEED sensory outlets.

Our year old grandchild loves it- just as good as the one in the park- spouse assembled/mounted in about 25 min- and yes you can still shut the door- pricey but money well spent for us- I'm sure supervision will be key as she gets older but that's fine with us

This is absolutely the best gift my 7 year old son received for the holidays. It works well with the Rainy Day Indoor trapeze bar, purchased separately. It is his "favorite" gift and despite a few falls in the beginning, has now clearly built strength and agility in just a few weeks. He manages to get his energy out on cold/snowy days, and isn't climbing our doorframes any more! Our family highly recommends this combination!

My husband was skeptical about my wanting this bar for an indoor swing for our autistic son. Like many autistic kids, he LOVES swinging, but living in a cold climate, that's limited to half of the year outdoors at best. So we got it for this past winter an fit was so incredibly heavily used and still STRONGLY secured. Both of our kids LOVE it. We're getting more items to hang from it now since all they've had is the swing. I can't possibly recommend this enough! And yes, my husband admitted that he needs to listen to me more. LOL

A bit expensive for a piece of rod, but it's been holding up great.

It’s definitely sturdy and trust it 100%. I weigh 135 lbs and sat on the swing. This was recommended by my sons occupational therapist to help soothe him.
