Safield Modern Silver Laptop Desk with Light, Cushion

This was a Christmas present for our 8 year old granddaughter who spends a lot of time with her creative writing. She doesn't always want to sit at a table or desk so finds this very useful. She says it is 'great' and 'very comfortable'. She loves the light although I am not sure how long that will last as she is not very gentle with it! We are all very pleased with it and consider it good value for money.

Quite a great idea for writing when there is no desk.No doubt good for tablets etc though I use a pen and it is really practical and well worth the price . Would be good for writing in bed too.

This is such a comfortable lap tray as it has a little cushion on the underside which is malleable, so you can shape it to suit your legs.The cup holder hole is quite useful if you're using it to have a meal in front of the TV.I used to have one of these in pink and it lasted me around 4 years (the light broke quickly though)So I'm expecting this to be around the same quality.The grey colour is a lovely neutral grey and doesn't look out of place next to a sofa or chair.It came reasonably fast and the seller had packaged it very well.Very happy customer! :)

It's OK and comfy on the knee. I've had bigger ones for half the price that we use as food trays. The only difference is a drink holder and a little light that I've also bought from a pound store before. I honestly thought for the money it would be better quality materials. Its usable so I didn't send it back.

Wonderful! My back has stopped hurting with leaning forward, it’s great! Pen and cup holder, I use for most things, not having to pick things up with rolling on the floor!

Cheap light did not work & now I have re-package, find the nearest place to return it, & wait for a couple of weeks for a refund. Pretty appalling tbh

Like another reviewer's product, the inner back had a hole in it so all the polyester beads were floating around inside. However I restuffed it and stapled up the hole as I couldn't face sending the thing back again. It looks really tacky and would be good if it came in something other than grey. Don't expect it to last very long. Cheap and not really very nice but hopefully a bit useful.

I use my latop on my lap all the time and used to use a cushion but my laptop used to get too hot. I was a little skeptical I ordered this after reading some of the reviews but I should not have worried. I ordered just before Christmas so paid a little extra for Frist class delivery and amazingly it arrived the next day! It arrived in perfect condition with the lamp in good working order. I now use it all the time. My laptop fits perfectly, although it covers the cup holder... the light is invaluable as my family love to watch TV in the dark and so I need to see what i am doing but can now remain in the same room as them. It also makes a great marking desk for me as I am always losing my pen when reading through a class of papers. My father is now going to buy one too!
