These collapsible camping lamps are so bright and easy to use they are ideal for helping you see in the dark and especially handy for the power cuts we are told we will be getting. This twin pack comes at an excellent price and uses 3x AA batteries (not included) the lamp twists off at the base and after inserting your batteries - twist the base back on and you simply pull the lamp upwards to your desired brightness..couldn't be easier. The lamps are small and sturdy and can sit on a counter top or be hung from the metal carrying handles..... they may be a small lamp but the brightness is mighty. I tested both lamps and then removed the batteries but put them inside the box for future use so that I wouldn't have to go searching for them when needed. (It does advise not to leave batteries inside the lamp when not in use). An excellent little product..great buy! Great for camping too! lol😊

Bought these as had a powercut the other night and realised I didn't have a torch in the house other than the one on my phone so needed to get something should a powercut happen again. These are brilliant. The light is very bright so will be great in a powercut and don't take up too much space to store when not in use. Only had them a couple of days so can't comment on battery life but other reviews seem to suggest that battery life is pretty good.

I bought these for our motorhome awning, and also bought hooks to hang them from the support bars. We haven’t had delivery of the motorhome yet, but I had looked at many (very expensive) lighting options. My husband insisted these would not be bright enough, but I tried just one in a dark bedroom, and it lit it up! I now have five, and I think our awning will look like Crystal Palace! Yes, you do need batteries, and I do not yet know how long they will last, but compared to the alternatives, all of which required a power source and fixings, these are amazingly inexpensive, simple to locate, and I think, very effective. The cost of the batteries is negated by the cost of the lamps.

Super deal on emergency/camping/backyard lighting for whenever you might need it. I like the fact that I can regulate the light output by varying how far I open the lamp. The light output is terrific. I have a couple of interior rooms in my house with no windows. With the doors closed these rooms are totally dark. Turning on one of these lights in those rooms is like being in broad daylight. I have bought 2 sets of these lights and will continue to buy these for family and friends for all uses. THESE ARE GREAT LIGHTS, Get ya some now!! /;-)) We just had a severe microburst storm here in DFW two days ago. 300k without power for two days. These lanterns saved the evenings for us. We were able to cook (gas) read, and do the crosswords and such as needed. They work great, do not get hot and have outstanding battery life. I know two of my lights have at least 80 hours on the 3 AA batteries that i put in them 3 years ago. Sidenote. I DO NOT store the lights with the batteries installed. I keep them in the box with the lamps and put them in when needed. I do this to prevent any possible damage to the lights in the event of a battery leak. Damn fine lights for the money, and now you can get a 4 pack for what I paid for 2 /;-((
