Sharpsafe 200ml Compact Travel Bin, Pack of 2

These little sharps boxes are great for taking away for a few days when your regular sharps container is too big or awkward to carry. The capacity is 200ml (which is plenty of space to dispose of umpteen needles / broken ampoules) and is a 'slim' shape which is easy to slide into a typical wash-bag. The containers have a temporary closure which prevents contents from spilling out, and this can be snapped shut permanently once the container is full. I definitely recommend these as a 'travel' sharps container.

Small box, but you can easily fit a lot of slim injections in

they are just the right size for disposable to use with my old shaving razor blades when used. I take one of these on holiday for my razor blads job done

Very good,bigger than I thought but still took 1 abroad with us and brought it back.Emptied it into the big one when we got home.Packed for next holiday.Dont get me wrong they are alot smaller than what you get from the doctors but a bit bigger for what the picture shows.But good quality and would definitely buy again

Being in the lucky position of going on a cruise, I suddenlty became concerned on how to dispose of my double edge razor blades safely. I have one of those large big yellow containers at home (which will take forever to fill!) and this smaller version will be just as useful whilst travelling, without taking up a load of space in the suitcase. Seems to be sturdy enough and the sliding lid mechanism is simple to use and has the facility to lock into place. The proof will be in not ripping a suitcase full of clothes up as my suitcase gets the usual gentle handling of the luggage handlers in airports and cruise terminals :-)

Other reviews clearly show that this product does the job for sharps and diabetic pens. However, I needed a travel-size container for Metroject pens, and took a chance that the product was suitable for them. It was not. The pens will pass through the aperture but are just too big to allow the container to be sealed. Not a fault with the product, but perhaps the seller could make clear that these are not suitable for Metroject pens.
