nail biting deterrent

Only you can stop biting your nails. This product helps by tasting awful, if you self control lapses but its also helps to strengthen nails to stop them splitting or flaking. I haven't found a better option or a cheaper supplier.

I've been a life-long nail biter. I 'quit' a few years ago but lately the habit has reared its head and I've bought some of this to help me out. My experience with this stuff is that is works, but sometimes it doesn't quite taste bad enough. Also there is a bit of a delay effect from when you start biting your nails to when the bitter taste sinks in, so it's possible to do some damage before you get put off. Another issue with it is that you need to keep applying it after you wash your hands. I'm the main cook in our family so I'm washing my hands way more than most people would be. Lastly, the cap always gets stuck due to dried out product (similar to a bottle of glue). I had to use pliers to open it last time this happened and ended up destroying the cap. Having said all that, this does work if you want to stop. It will give you that litter reminder that you shouldn't be nibbling and if you're diligent it should be enough to get you going.

I've used this on my 7 year old daughter for almost 2 weeks now, and she has stopped sucking her thumbs! Even when I mention putting it on (which I do each night) she says she won't suck her thumb. Even one night where I forgot to put some on she didn't!

Have used this before. Really good for helping to stop biting your nails. Really doesn't taste good and you won't want it in your mouth. Good value for money.

I keep buying this hoping it will work - tastes awful but I only put it on a few days a week. My problem really - not the paste. Would be better if it made you vomit or made you ill!!!

Shame it washes off too easily. Saved loads from this seller and with my lack of will power I'll use at least these two bottles

Bought this due to value for money. Product does exactly what it is meant to. The fact you use this stops you even wanting to put your hands near your mouth! Nails good to file and polish within 7 - 10 days.
