I love this jet. Wouldn’t recommend as a first jet. A little tricky to land. Wish it was a little bigger but it still looks great in the air. Once trimmed it’s about as easy to fly as my 64mm Viper. Quickly becoming my favorite.

Sweep the wings and get your Maverick on!! With AS3X this thing handles perfectly. Looks fantastic in the air and handles even better. Safe isn't too limiting so it's usable while you get used to how she handles. I even launched it with the wings swept, no problems. This thing flat moves for it's small scale. best $220 I've spent in a LONG time. I fly mine in my local park early when nobody is around. Thanks E-flite for giving us what we have asked for years. Now if you would just release it in different livery's

I bought and setup as per manual . .it took off in about 150 ft and climbed out nicely....a single circuit and it flew away on responsive.....it's been a month plus and I found the canopy with what I assume to be coyote bumite marks ....the plane was not found.....anyway....fresh newer battery was putting off sounds to get attacked...sure wish I hadn't either flown or bought but if eflight sees this or Amazon.......I'll take another minus canopy as I can fix mine......the wings did sweep nicely

Very solid in the air, but not for beginner as you have to keep the speed up on this one. There is no rudder and you have to come in hot on the landings. Excellent little plane for the cost.

After four "lost signal" crashes I discovered that the Flight Controller simply stops powering the motors with the throttle below 20%. It's definitely a production error and can be verified as a defect during bench testing. Move the throttle between 25 and 0 percent throttle. Eventually the motors will quit while flight surfaces still function. It takes a few seconds for the flight controller to function again. But in this amount of time you've probably wrecked. I fly it with my throttle trim all the way up and it keeps the motors at 20% at idle. This keeps the flight controller from flaking out. I'm sorry E-Flite but you've got to know what's going on.

Apparently spektrum bind and fly no longer includes all radios. Tried to use with DX6 and Dx8 and the model loses radio communication once throttle is applied and as3x engages. Buyer beware. I refuse to buy spektrum new computer radios.

Should buy other f 14 no rudder
