Aluminium Kettle 27 Cook Set, Capacity 0.6 Litres, with Handle

Love it as it fits my trangia set up, was carrying a separate kettle but went for this and glad I did. You can make more room for it by taking out one of the pots but it I haven’t. It’s well made trangia quality, light and tiny! I think it’s about 600ml of water so not quite two cans of soda pop, perfect for two 👍

Love this trangia 0.6 kettle just perfect only thing I dident like it was left at front door step why dident it go round to back door or a neighbour our street has problems with leaving orders at front door please stop doing this !

I bought this to go with my Trangia 27. I already have a 1.6l travel kettle (pictured) but it's an awkward fit with the 27 and it has to be packed separately. The Trangia kettle on the other hand fits inside one of the 27's pots, and with the handle turned down the Trangia packs down into its usual size. Even with the burner inside the kettle there's still enough space inside for some 3-in-1 coffees and/or teabags. Good stuff? It feels robust. It's tiny and lightweight and it makes for a cute talking point. It holds enough for two standard cups of tea if you fill it to the brim and carefully pour it out, or one-and-three-quarter cups if you're worried about boiling water splashing everywhere. There's no whistle, but this isn't really an issue with a meths-burning stove (you're not likely to leave it unattended!). I found that the water tasted slightly odd, probably because of the meths, but it's not camping unless the water tastes odd. On the downside an extra pot is more versatile than a single-purpose kettle, although on a psychological level it feels wrong to make coffee with water boiled in a pot. Carrying a larger kettle isn't all that much of a bother because it's hollow. As mentioned in other reviews the interior tarnishes in an odd-looking way after the first boil, but this is apparently harmless. I don't know if it's deliberate or a result of buying the kettle separately, but the spout stops it sitting snugly inside the 27's pots. It fits, but it looks as if it should fit better. Still, they're picky complaints. As with everything by Trangia it's more expensive than you might expect but on the other hand they're a small company in a high-tax country, so I can't grumble.

Bought for Trangia 27 just to complete the set. Cheapest I had found on the Internet. Fits into the pots well, and just hold enough water for 2 cups of tea/coffee. Took about 5 mins to boil using stove.

I bought this as a second one for a different cook system, the Trangia 27 kit I initially bought years ago is used as it was originally bought, since then I have purchased the mini, the triangle and separate pans...so this kettle goes with the variety show. It holds enough water for two cups of coffee or tea, the handle has a rubber grip to protect your fingers from being burned. It's made to the same very high Trangia standard and it does have some discolouration inside after much use...I believe it is normal for aluminium to discolour over time. Not anything to worry about though!

Perfect kettle that fits the 27 cook set, stows away in the set when it is packed away. Good lightweight kettle just for camping/ hiking, boils up quickly but doesn't make a lot because of its compact size. Ideal for single trekker but can quickly boil up for another person.

Nice and small to put in your pack. Not the fastest way of boiling water but if you’re out in the wild , your not in any rush.

Its expensive but so so cute. Its trangia and fits into the 28(?) cookset pans for a trad meths addict like myself. Holds enough for a decent sized cuppa...but only just. Not as efficient as a titanium mug on a roaring jetboil but so much quieter on a morning. Did I mention it was cute?
