Easy peasy
Iโm really pleased with the live worms I received from Uncle Jim. I didnโt count them because there seemed to be more than enough wrigglers in the package. They were alive and well when I released them from the bag. It was a HOT day when they arrived. So I had a cooler with a bag of ice for the UPS guy to put them on to ensure they would be alive when I got home. They are easy to care for - I am using them in a vermihut. I toss the bedding and food them weekly. They are doing their job well. Thanks, Jim!

Healthy wiggly red worms
They all came alive and wriggling. Much skinnier than I was expecting they looked teeny tiny... But I know that red earthworms are smaller than nightcrawlers in appearance.. My 4-year-old said they look like baby snakes. I carefully dumped them into an empty plant pot then sprinkled water into their soil . The next morning I carefully used a fork to scoop them out of the soil and put a small pile of worms into every house plant pot that I had. I'm hoping it will revive my potting soil.. So far all of the plants are doing great and the worms are still in the pot when I water you can see a little bit of them.. I am definitely buying more for my garden..

Quality and QUICK
This vendor delivers what they say they are selling you. At a glance I had more viable worms by 10 fold than the previous vendor. Order with confidence... this outfit is legitimate. My worms are in my composite bin ready to settle in and go to work. YEA!!!!!!

So happy with my new worms!
My worms came with lots of babies! This is a sign that they are a happy and healthy bunch. It was so cool watching them come to life when I dumped them into their bin. They were very active, and there were so many of them.

Alive and kickin on arrival!
I bought these worms to start my worm farm, a Christmas gift to myself. The bin that I have calls for 1000 worms to start, but I got some sticker shock when I went to purchase said worms. Thatโs the only reason I knocked a star off. Iโm unsure of the reason worms cost a small fortune, perhaps because of the time of year or the shipping costs, but I was unwilling to spend almost $100 on worms, which is almost as much as I spent on their new home. I figured that 250 worms will eventually reproduce, and though almost $40 is still an unreasonable amount to pay for a paltry amount of worms, I found no better alternatives. Iโm unsure if there were really 250 worms. Many were very very small and they were shipped in soil, but there did not seem to be that many. I would venture a guess that they send you worms by weight as โworm counterโ does not seem to be an enticing job for anyone over the age of 10. That being said, the worms that I did receive were very lively. I placed them in their new home right away and they were quick to burrow into their new bedding. The instructions said to wait a week or two before feeding them, however my worms kept escaping. I figured they were either bored or hungry so I fed them after a few days which has seemed to solve the problem. They are happily eating my kitchen scraps every time I check on them. I can even hear them in there wiggling around when Iโm close by like some faint horror movie soundtrack.

My new pets!
I ordered 250 worms to add to an 80-Gallon regular composter to see how worms would do and if things would process faster. I am not a super serious composter/gardener and just find it amazing how things break down and it can't hurt to dump compost on my plants. These worms arrived alive within 2 days (earlier than estimated) and pretty good size. I didn't see any dead ones. Some online forums say that this company sends a mix of India Blue and Red Wigglers in the RW bag, but they all looked the same to me. Apparently the Indian Blue worms are more active and prone to escaping or dying so worm breeders don't like them as much as Red Wigglers. These worms came with a really nice two sided information sheet which helped me make sure I am doing everything right. I followed the instructions and put them in my bin with some celery stalks and the stalks were mostly strings by the next day! I have been adding food and moisture to my bin every other day and I think they are doing well. I got so curious I sifted some out to look and I still had a good number of fat healthy worms a week later that seem to be working away on the food and yard waste I am adding. It is hard to sift out the castings and it isn't super magic overnight, but it is still pretty neat. They don't seem to be doing much to the leaves and trimmings in my bin (yet?) but I see the food getting eaten pretty quickly. I also put some horse manure in there before I got them and they seem to really like that. I totally recommend this company as they have been doing it for ages and their website is really informative. The price was right and the shipping was speedy. I don't think I will need more worms because these should breed quickly but if I do want more pets I will reorder from them without hesitation.

DO NOT BUY! The worms will die almost immediately.
DO NOT BUY! I bought 250 red wrigler worms on April 21 and split the difference with 2 plants. I bought the food you offer, also, I fed and cared for them as per your advice and instructions. I harvested the plants yesterday and went to recover the worms to place them in a "worm box" I built per your advice. After sifting through 20 gallons of soil I found a total of 3 worms less than 1.5" long. Please inform me as to why they died. The sellers "excuse" was to blame ot on everything but their product.

worms are happy and healthy.
Initially, I thought most were dead, but after a day or so they started squirming. I spoke with the vendor because I thought they were mostly dead. They responded quickly, told me when the worms were harvested and that they should be alive. By then, I realized that most worms were indeed alive. They just needed to acclimate a bit longer. The bedding and coconut shred provided is very useful, especially for beginners. They arrived in a well-suited strong bag with bedding, plus extra bedding in the box they came in. They also provided a charcoal heater to keep them warm during delivery. Worms were not cold, or unhealthy. Delivery was very fast. Customer should ideally be home when they arrive to avoid leaving them in unsuitable environments.

not 250 worms
- 1 star for not having 250 worms. -0.5 star for shipping company. Other than that the worms are doing great. The ones that made it are big and fat and there are more now than when i started my bin. Would buy again.

First order was a bad batch, but great customer service
The first batch ordered, i only got about 20 worms, small and lethargic and close to death. I messaged the retailer and they offered to replace the worms for free, and even threw in a little extra gift for the inconvenience. The second batch arrived in about 2 days, and there were quite a few worms in there so i am satisfied.
