Q: Is there a way of using the different knobs/dials for different windows volume? e.g chrome on the first and Skype on an another?

There's an app called MIDI Mixer that provides pretty deep integration (uses lights etc) and does that! Disclaimer: I'm the creator. :)

Q: will this work with Mixcraft daw

i am not sure, i found it almost impossible to set it up for reason and cubase. :( i haven't used it to make music once yet. I wish you more luck than i had.

I think it should work with any DAW. I use it in Reaper, Logic, Garageband on Mac and Reaper and Cakewalk on win10. It's just right for me as I can only play some chords for pads, strings and some organ stabs. Aslo I use it with Drum synths.
