3 x 115mm 4.5" Diamond Disc Cutting Blade Angle Grinder Stone Brick Concrete

I recently picked up this Tech Traders 3-pack of Diamond Discs for a landscaping project, and honestly, I am blown away by the performance. You usually expect a "budget" multi-pack to wear down instantly, but these have exceeded all my expectations for both speed and longevity. Key Performance Details: Cutting Speed: I used these on my 4.5" angle grinder to cut through thick garden paving slabs and old red bricks. The diamond segments bite into the material immediately, providing a smooth, fast cut without needing to apply excessive pressure. Durability: I’m still on the first disc after several hours of work. The wear rate is impressively low; the "diamond" edge holds up even when tackling harder concrete blocks. Precision: There is minimal vibration with these discs. They run very true, which means you get a much cleaner edge with less chipping compared to standard abrasive wheels. Universal Fit: They fit my standard 115mm grinder perfectly with no wobble, giving me full confidence while working at high RPMs. Pros: Triple Pack Value: Getting three high-quality discs for this price is unbeatable. It’s great to have spares on hand so you don't have to stop mid-project. Versatility: They handled everything I threw at them—stone, brick, and paving—with the same level of ease. Clean Finish: Very little "burring" or rough edges on the finished cut. Cons: Dust Production: Like all dry-cutting diamond blades, they produce a lot of dust. This isn't a fault of the product, but definitely make sure you’re wearing a good mask and eye protection! The Verdict: These Tech Traders Diamond Discs are a must-have for any DIYer or tradesman looking to save money without sacrificing quality. They are rugged, efficient, and honestly feel like they should cost twice as much. I won’t be overpaying for "big brand" blades at the hardware store anymore.

Purchased to cut decorative paving stones in half to fit size of job and this worked very well and manages its edge well throughout. The paving slabs I cut in half were not the basic Broadstone style (this would easily cut those) but one tip I learned was score 3/4 of the slab and then snap the slab over something raised and you get a nice clean break without having to cut directly through the thicker slabs.

Good quality discs. Put them in the grinder and away you go. Quality product, sharp solid, and,using them on paving slabs, "slice through" easily. A lot cheaper than in d.i.y. stores! This is my 2nd purchase of these, so that is an indicator of how I rate them. Good buy.

Good cutting discs for all jobs

I bought these after reading the reviews and they sounded ideal for cutting my indian stone. Unfortunatley they struggle to cut indian stone or harder concretes and the result is a lot of sparking and jumping. As also mentioned by another reviewer on here the instructions are also wrong, as they were for me. They say to fit the blade one way but i found they work a lot better on the opposite direction and the results were they cut through breezeblocks like cheese. If you are buying these for softer stones like breeze blocks and some softer stones or cement they should be fine and a great price to be honest but if you are looking to cut harder stuff like indian sandstone these will really struggle. I ended up purchasing a £13 norton blade from screwfix which featured the fact it would cut harder sandstones on the packaging and it was right it cut through them much easier (similar to how these cut through breeze blocks). Hopefully this review will help you to decide wether to purchase these for your needs and remember as others have said if they struggle to cut on some stones, fit them reversed. Overall cant complain at 3x discs for £9 but its more of a case of quantity over quality here.

Cut sandsstone slabs, work well. Not sure how long they will last. Quite a shallow cut depth due to diameter.

I used the discs when removing some old window cills. I made dozens of cuts in the concrete and they held their sharpness throughout. I only used one disc which after the whole job was still performing well.

Set di dischi ottimo per pietra e mattone. L'HO usati per tagliare mattoni e per fare delle tracce nel muro di forati ed anche tufo... uno spettacolo!!!
