Energizer Reading Light, Book Light, Lightweight with Easy Clip, Batteries Included, Black (Battery Powered)

Excellent small light. Easy to use, can be clipped to book, e reader or the edge of a bed or furniture. Batteries last well and are easy to obtain. This is a new version of the energiser booklite. It is 11 lumens whereas the older version was 14 lumens. This new one has a more yellow light ( the older one was a whiter light which I personally preferred ). It takes 2 CR2032 batteries as it's predecessor did but it is a bit more fiddly to insert them in this new light. It has a flatter stem which seems to work, the older versions always seem to split so I hope this change has improved the stem. It says designed to last 10 years. As the older ones all split within a year I will be interested to see how this statement measures up. All in all I do like it , the light suits my purpose as I can clip it to the edge of my bed to read at night without much disturbance to my partner. But I do wish the light was not so yellow. Sadly the old versions appear unobtainable now.

Very pleased with this light - very good value for the money. The light has a sturdy attachment (unlike other brands I've had in the past that have snapped or don't grip the book well). The light is quite bright as others have mentioned but can be angled so as not fill the room. Think it'll be handy though too as a little torch on holiday. Like the fact you can clip it in on itself, so less likely to get damaged when stored. Lightweight and seemingly well made. Comes with batteries which is good too.

This Energizer Booklite gives the impression that it is more durable than many of the alternatives that are available and I expect it to last well. It seems, in some ways at least, to be well-designed and I like the way it folds and locks together when not being used, making it very compact and easy to carry around. However, the flexible stem would have been better if it had been a centimeter or two longer as the light is not as bright as I would like and though there is ample light for the top half of each page I find myself wishing the bottom half of the page was better illuminated, and there isn't sufficient length on the stem to bend it far enough over and down to focus more light on the lower part of your book. The light itself is a warmer, more yellow, light than other book lights I've used. I do quite like this as it is easier on the eyes but the whiter lights on other book lights do seem brighter so I'm not sure if I'm totally won over. The CR2032 cells are fitted by removing three small screws that hold the cover in place. This isn't the most convenient arrangement but not a huge hassle either; just make sure you have a small cross-head screwdriver handy.

A fantastic book light! As a book reviewer I read a lot of books and now I can read paperbacks at night in the dark. Sometimes I like a change from my Kindle. It's incredibly flexible, great height to it so pages don't catch, it doesn't damage pages or the cover when it's clipped on which is fabulous! Very easy to use and gives off a lot more light than I thought. I've used about 20 hours of reading light time so far. Not sure how long the batteries will last. I e recommended this one to all of my book loving friends. 5 stars from me!

This is one of those items you imagine to be ideal to have - I was ecstatic when I was advised that it exists. I bought two of these as I wanted one, and wanted to gift the other to a friend who shares a room. Thanks to this, I have restarted my reading craze as I am able to read before I sleep. I have a very busy daily schedule so this really was ideal to help me stop making excuses for my lack of reading. It's just the perfect amount of light that makes the book legible but isn't blinding! Would strongly recommend to book lovers whether you are an avid reader or just seeking to have a quick 5/10 mins once a day!

We previously bought a cheaper book light and were very disappointed with it. This product, on the other hand, appears to be of good quality and has a pleasant colour temperature and brightness. The battery life is rated at 25h for 2x CR2032 which can be bought quite cheaply in bulk. So far we're very pleased.

I have now bought three of these for me and as gifts. Perfect book light. Clips easily on the cover and bends to direct the light. Bright light. Battery life could be better but highly recommend.

I bought this to use with a Kindle (old 3rd gen with no backlight) and it clips to that fine. I find the light is a bit bright personally but you can angle the light enough to stop reflections and not be too bright. It initially wouldn't stay on and I had to unscrew the case and bend the metal contacts in the switch. Since then though it's worked all the time and the battery life seems good too.

Un prodotto veramente ben fatto, la torcia ha due livelli di intensità, e si ripiega e chiude con un sistema a scorrimento che la rende veramente pratica per essere portata con se. La pinza è forte e stabile, forse un po grossa ad essere pignoli. Non ho per ora avuto necessità di cambiare le batterie quindi non ho idea dei consumi, ma confrontata con altre torce da lettura viste in giro mi pare sia un prodotto veramente ottimo.
