HyperX Cloud Stinger 2 Core - Gaming Headset for Playstation, Lightweight Over-Ear Headset with mic, Swivel-to-Mute Function, 40mm Drivers - White

Ok was a long time Hyperx Cloud II user, had bought them 3 of them over many years because they were just all around solid for what i needed and sounded pretty good to me. Well my latest Cloud II's finally broke (more on me than on the build quality). I was looking around and bought some Logitech ones on sale and they were crap, wore them for like 30 minutes and couldnt do it. Then I came across these Stinger 2 Core's on sale for $17 with decent reviews, I figured eh what the hell Ill give them a shot for that price. Not as overall nice as the Cloud II's in terms of overall quality and sound. But I downloaded an eq (eqmac) and tweaked it around and now they sound as good to me as the Cloud II's did. Yes they are obviously no Sennheiser's, but they were $17 (even if they were $35 id consider it good bang for the buck). So Im pretty happy now, the mic sounds solid too, again not anything crazy special just solidly good. So anyone looking at these for obviously non-professional uses, I think theyre a great pair of headphones, just go download an eq program if you dont already have one so you can get some better audio quality, out of the box they sounded very treble heavy with not much bass, but now with the eq set they kind of came alive. Also wearing them for a few days now I find them to be more than comfortable enough. They are very much a lot of plastic in the build, but I wouldnt expect much else for being priced this low. They dont feel super cheap though (like the logitech ones did).

I still use these headphones til this day i bought them years ago they are so durable its actually crazy and also the sound quality is not bad at all very comfy too doesnt hurt my ears nice and lightweight.

Best bang for your buck, after returning two other headsets to best buy i got this one. Really good quality for cheap.

Bought it for my son. I asked him what he doesnt like and he said nothing really. He also said "sometimes it might fall out of place on his ears, but not that bad really." The color and design is pretty good, and he uses it alot. It doesnt have adaptability for usb, so you would have to buy a female aux port to a male usb adapter to plug it into usb things. It is very comfey on his head, and fits well. The mic quality is good as we tested it through playstation party. He also said he feels like the bass is a little higher so even though its only wired it would be good for music. He has taken very good xare of it so far so idk about the durability, but by the looks alone it looks pretty durable.

Hearing audio is very good, however, mic is EXTREMELY quiet and I haven’t been able to raise it. Since it’s wired, very easy to use but I just really wish I could find a way to raise the mic volume so others wouldn't struggle to hear me.

This headset is great. I was concerned that the microphone would not be clear like the high end hyper x cloud ii which I own. I was wrong it completely works as clear and great. The sound quality is still pretty good just a level below the the cloud 2. Otherwise this is a perfect spare headset for work or gaming. 100% recommend this headset for anyone on the market looking for a good headset.

The HyperX Cloud Stinger 2 Core is an excellent headphone for gaming. I use it for my PS5 (plug it into the dualsense controller's 3.5mm jack). The sound is immersive. The music sounds crisp. The dialogs also can be heard nice and clear. The volume is controllable via the small volume control button on the right piece. So, no issues of sound level too. The sound is ample enough to get a good feel of PS5's 3D Tempest Audio. Infact, I never required to turn on full volume while using this headphone. 70% volume is enough for me. The headphones were also delivered in nice and new packaging, with all the plastic covers, which was a nice unboxing experience. Overall, go ahead with these headphones if you intend it for gaming (PS5 or PC).

Después de más de un año de uso casi diario, definitivamente tienen buen rendimiento. Son ligeros y cómodos. En cuanto al sonido, los graves son moderados y se distingue bien cada instrumento y voces. El micrófono también es de calidad. Además no generan incomodidad después de uso continuo como otras marcas, sin duda son calidad precio.
