This tastes good and is not thick. It doesn't have much caffeine but provides a nice afternoon pick up.

The caramel macchiato and strawberry flavors are absolutely delicious! They are already on my subscribe and save plan! I could live on these things if it provided enough nutrition! I don't drink much caffeine outside of these of these of these so it gives me a little boost... I'm not sure how they will work for people with a higher caffeine tolerance, but mine has dropped for sure and I feel the effects. Fair warning about the mocha Cappuccino flavor... For some odd reason it sort of smells like tuna, although it doesn't taste like it. The taste isn't bad at all but the smell is a bit off putting, especially initially. It does have a bit of a powdery chocolate flavor thing happening, but that is tolerable for me.

It has a great coffee flavor with a little pickmeup. I also like the strawberry but prefer this one. I am drinking one Slimfast for lunch and eating a normal breakfast and dinner. I am definitely losing weight partially because I have stepped up my walking distance.

That said, I'm super bummed out Slim Fast changed the caramel flavor. The Caramel Latte was my favorite - a thick, rich caramel flavor. The Caramel Macchiato is much thinner, much more coffee tasting, much more bitter. Coffee definitely outweighs the caramel, where it was the opposite with the Caramel Latte. I'm so disappointed in it, that I opt for the chocolate, which is rare - I typically prefer caramel over chocolate. I really don't care for strong, cold coffee, as it tastes more bitter to me than hot coffee. I was hoping it was temporary because I was ordering several 12 packs in my subscribe and save monthly delivery. I don't taste the overwhelming cold coffee taste in the chocolate flavor, and I prefer its thicker consistency. Maybe it tricks my brain, but it feels more filling than the new caramel drink, the same way it did with the old, thicker caramel latte. That all said, I buy these because I love the ingredients - 20g of protein, decent amount of caffeine, 5g of fiber (more filling), some fat and low carb. I used to be a major buyer/fan of Bang Keto Coffee, but they discontinued it in their bankruptcy to streamline and remain in business. Slim Fast has been the closest alternative that I found with the added benefit of vitamins and fiber (just much less caffeine - darn). I have multiple a day and still bought these drinks when I was buying Bang Keto Coffee. I just buy more of these now. Fingers crossed, Slim Fast brings the original Caramel Latte back as an addition to their new caramel flavor, so we caramel lovers can have our preferred option.

Oh my gosh, these slim fast protein protein shakes with caffeine are out of this world. So yummy. They taste so good and they’ve got 30 g of protein in a calorie count is very low. You just screw the cap off and you’re ready to go. I highly recommend these.

I decided to try these as an alternative to Premier Protein shakes, because they were less expensive and to Atkins protein shakes, because they have more protein. I bought the caffeinated cappuccino flavor because I like that extra boost in the morning and early afternoon. Premier and Atkins had coffee versions as well which I’d ordered and enjoyed. Also, in the past I have purchased SlimFast shakes (when they came in cans) and the powdered version that you mix yourself and I have enjoyed both of those. I DO NOT enjoy these at all. They have the strangest chemical aftertaste that reminds me of liquid smoke or baked beans. Like a barbecue. So, so weird. I don’t get coffee flavor or mocha at all! I ordered two cases-one mocha and the other caramel and have drank several of each flavor trying to make my brain recognize wtf I’m tasting and to adjust my palate. I don’t know if my olfactory senses are messed up because I have a similar reaction to certain common fragrance notes that smell so rancid to me. And a lot of what you taste is based on what you smell. So maybe it is just a “me thing” but regardless, the coffee house flavors I’ve tried are terrible. And I have legitimately made an effort to acquire a taste for them.

This is very very good and helps me during the day as I have fibromyalgia and I am recovering from 2 knee replacements! This is a great way to keep nourished in the recuperation. Tastes great!
