LOVE these silent switches

Recently bought the Aula 75% keyboard, and it came with LEObog Reaper linear switches. Although they sounds beautiful to your ears, wondering creamy/thocky and felt amazing and easy to type with, I needed a silent linear switch. I type very fast, and hearing all that thock and sound at high speeds is too distracting and noisy for my coworkers lol. I did some reviews on YouTube to decide which silent switches to try, and these Gamakay Phoenix linear silents switches are amazing ! Very quiet, and like any silent switch they're not actually 100% silent, but they're really really quiet, and I still get to hear a little bit of the tippy tippy typing noises to feel like it's super cute sounding without being loud at all. Love love love these. They do feel good too, easy to type with, and you don't have to type hard for the key to activate a typed letter, you can type lightly if you want and everything appears fine.... or you can type super hard too if you want, and it's still very very quiet overall... not clack or annoying. These are wonderful, and affordably priced. Highly recommended. I prefer linear switches over tactile switches, so these were perfect for me.

Extremely impressed.

My one and only complaint is that these aren't sold in packs of 90 or 100. Kitting out two keyboards needed 3 70-packs.This review is for the Phoenix switches. I use two Keychron boards and was a bit disappointed with the Gaterons in those so after a bit of digging tried these, and wow. Zero regrets. Very smooth, very quiet, decently light actuation. They work well with south-facing RGB.Packaging is fine. Zero dead switches out of the ~180 I installed. Now I just need to fix my stabilizers being noisy.

They sound great on a keyboard… if you get enough of them that aren’t damaged in the package.

**Update** After receiving correspondence from the seller indicating Amazon had erroneously sold me switches that’d been previously returned, the seller offered to refund me or to replace the switches. Their message to me was sent in a timely manner, in addition to subsequent messages. I am satisfied with this outcome and am happy we came to a resolution. Customer service on this issue was prompt and appreciated.I don’t usually post negative reviews, but I am very disappointed in the quality of these switches. In the past few months, I’ve built 12 keyboards with switches from various companies. For my most recent build, I bought these Gamakay Mars switches. I’d like to say, “They’re out of this world”, but I can’t. There are SO many with bent pins (a sample of the unusable ones are shown - I stopped counting them when I got to 14). Some of them I had to bend back with pliers. Others, like the other example picture shown here, are destroyed beyond repair… right out of the box… and they’re practically curled. In my prior builds, I’ve typically found a couple of switches within a box that have an issue, but I haven’t experienced anything like this. In the future, I’ll definitely spend my money on another brand.

Perfect silent clicky.. modifiers!

These Pegasus switches (silent tactile) have a tactile bump, and are the quietest I've ever tried. They feel pretty buttery and you can't hear them at all, which puts a smile on my face. That being said, when building out my board for the office, coming from clicky "typist" switches, it was important to me to have the tactility of clicky switches while not making a sound, and also while not have any mushiness. These Pegasus switches do NOT fit that requirement because they have a strange mushy "release" when letting go of the switch, almost like it has some difficulty overcoming the tactile bump on its way back up. I type about 135 wpm, but with these switches, I strangely could not beat 120 wpm, over and over, just could not get over 120 wpm, as if my fingers were always second-guessing if I had let go of the switch or not. It's hard to explain, but that's how I envision what my fingers were doing. At the end of the day, I built out my silent clicky board with Kailh Deep Sea Whales on all the letters and numbers. Those switches are true "silent clicky" without mushiness, and they have the true feeling of clicky switches while also being really quiet. So then, why the 5 stars??? The Kailh Deep Sea Whales are louder than these GAMAKAY Pegasus switches, particularly on the big keys/modifiers (tab, ctrl, alt, space, etc). So, I had an idea to use these Pegasus switches on those modifiers, and wouldn't you know it, the keyboard is a dream come true. I can use Excel doing all kinds of formulae and ctrl-clicking and shift-selecting and filling equations without making a sound with the GAMAKAY Pegasuses on the modifiers, and typing e-mails is still satisfying and quiet with the Kailh Deep Sea Whales. My silent clicky office keyboard is therefore Kailh Deep Sea Whales on letters and numbers, with GAMAKAY Pegasuses everywhere else. It's perfect.

Genuinely Silent!

I love these keyboard switches. I think the sound dampening is wonderful, allowing me to work/play late at night without disturbing my Wife. That said, the FEEL isn't for everyone. My Wife is very picky about what types of switches she wants on her keyboard, and she can't stand how these switches feel.If you're a very tactile person and are sensitive to specific touch feelings/sensations, you might not like these, but in my mind, you're buying these because they're silent. They're relatively cheap for switches, and they're silent. That's all I was looking for and it ticked both of those boxes.

Quiet and satisfying to type on

Very happy with how quiet and satisfying these feel to press. The packaging on these was also nice.

My endgame switch.

I'll give you my pathway of switches I tried up to this point. My first keyboard came with Gateron Reds (linear). Pretty good switch, but I quickly swapped them out for Kailh Speed Silvers (linear). The Speed Silvers were also "okay", but they actually became "good" after a fairly heavy coating of lube. That was also the first time I lubed switches, so I just did a poor job. But they were drastically improved.Fast forward. My entire family is being kept up late at night by my keyboard, despite the desk mat and lubed linears. I decide to give silent switches a shot.I buy the Durock Daybreaks, and I immediately fall in love. They're quiet, they're smooth, and after a quick lube job, it probably becomes my favourite typing experience thus far. After a few months, I buy a new keyboard to use at home only. Something less portable, heavier, maybe better-sounding, the GMMK Pro. But since I still want to hang onto my old keyboard with the daybreak switches, I buy the Coral silent switches on Deskhero. They feel a bit mushier, and the red housing messes up the backlight color of the keyboard. I need something else. So I move away from linears for the first time in my life, and I buy the Tessence Tactiles from Drop. And they sound good. They are _almost_ clicky-feeling, they are decent build, and they are a good weight for my hands. But over time, I decide to actually improve my typing ability, and be "lighter" at typing. I don't want to bottom out, because bottoming out is also just generally loud. And the Tessence switches start to fail me. I realize that their actuation weight was actually almost like the bottom-out weight. So while I'm typing lighter, I'm also missing like 50% of my keystrokes or some other ungodly number.I need a lighter switch. Tactile, neutral color housing. Bonus points for silent.Check, check, check, and bonus check. These switches are EXACTLY what I wanted. They're lighter. They're tactile (a pretty nice bump too. Less than the tessence, but still noticeable.)They're coloured properly. And finally, THEY'RE SILENT!!!I genuinely believe this is my endgame. I'm not _ghost_ typing and missing keystrokes. Now the only thing holding me back is my actual typing (in)ability. One day I'll hit that 120WPM average. Not today, though.

Much more silent than standard cherry browns or reds

The media could not be loaded. Not sure what's wrong, but mine seem to be unlubed, they are bone dry inside. As a result, there's a little clacking on each keypress. Overall they feel nice and are very quiet, but need lubing. When lubed, the clacking is gone. You can feel the rubber stoppers, but it's not that bad. I didn't like them at first, when installed on the same board as my older lubed browns. On the video: Left Ctrl key is lubed, others - not yet. There's an obvious difference.

Very good switches for the price

- Silent- Tactile- 3 pin switch- Not a light switchThe Gamakay Pegasus switch checks all the boxes and none of the switches had a bent pin. Now my keyboard is soo quiet, nobody will complain when I in the office. I love it.

Very Quiet

I really like these switches . They are very quiet. That is the main reason I purchased these and they did not disappoint. Used on a Wormeir K87 Pro. No issues installing.
