NutriBird P15 Tropical Maintenance - 1kg

Times change, prices change, and the solid food that my daughter has always bought for her parrots suddenly rose to an astronomical price. After some searching through Amazon, she came across this Nutribird band and so I bought her a couple of boxes to test. The "test", especially on one parrot who is incredibly fussy, was perfect and the food was eaten without any problem and the birds are really happy. The quality of this food, the ingredients, are precisely what she was looking for and a happy bird meant a happy daughter without anyone needing an overdraft. At the price, these represent excellent value for the larger bird and we will certainly be continuing to buy this product in the future.

Green cheek absolutely loves this stuff. Tried him on an alternative and he hated it so went straight back to this.

Purchased this for my parrot, who has to be the most awkward bird we could have picked in the shop!! So hardly surprising he refuses to eat this food and will spend five minutes chucking it on the cage floor!! However, it has the odd one biscuit in the pack which he will half eat. Will persist with slowly mixing it in his seed diet because he also refuses to eat fruit and vegetables so if it’s got all it says it has in it, it’s a way to get the nutrients in him!! 🤷‍♀️🤦‍♀️

i wanted to try to give my african grey (pebbles) a different pellet to try so i got these to see if she will like them. it took a couple of days for her to get use to pellets but she seems to be taking to them quite nicely. the only reason i wanted to try a different pellet is because i would buy zupreem fruitblend and have a bit of a problem with the colourings used to give the pellets the different colours. these pellets seem to be more nourishing and dont seem to use the bright colouring that the other pellets have. so far so good!!!!!

Mon Amazone de 19 ans les adore et en mange quotidiennement depuis des années - en complément de sa gamelle de fruits et légumes bien sûr. Et quand il n'y en a plus dans sa gamelle, elle sait nous le faire savoir (elle HURLE!!): elle en adore donc le goût, et ne s'en lasse pas!

La comida no está mal, huele bien y a mi loro le gusta. Hay otros que han quitado los colorantes y perfumes de sus comidas y luego la casa huele a gallinero, con esta comida no. Que más pedir si le gusta al animal y me es cómodo encontrarla y recibirla contentos.

Wir haben die NutriBird P15 Tropical Pellets ursprünglich für unseren Rotbugara genommen, der aber inzwischen nur noch normales Papageienfutter frisst. Dafür haben wir jetzt mit unserem Salomonenkakadu einen willigen Abnehmer für das Futter gefunden. Dieser frisst die Pellets zu seinem normalen Körnerfutter und ist begeistert. Solange er das Futter also nicht verschmäht, wird er es als Beifutter weiter bekommen. Als Alleinfutter haben sich die Pellets allerdings bei keinem unserer Papageien und Kakadus durchgesetzt. Er hat bei den Pellets eine gesunde Mischung aus Getreide, frischen Obst und Erdnüssen. Sie haben einen angenehm fruchtigen Geruch. Es gibt unterschiedliche Formen wie Sterne, Herzen oder Ringe. Sämtliche Beschreibungen sind auf der Verpackung und in der beiliegenden Anleitung in niederländisch, englisch, spanisch, portugiesisch, französisch, deutsch, italienisch und dänisch abgedruckt. Bei NutriBird handelt es sich um ein Produkt der belgischen Firma Versele-Laga, die seit Jahren auf Futter für Papageien spezialisiert ist. Neben den Pellets produziert die Firma unter anderem auch Aufzuchtfutter. Versele-Laga ist u.a. auch für das Futter des berühmten Loro Parque in Teneriffa zuständig. Das Futter unterliegt daher strengster Qualitätskontrollen.
