When when are you getting a niterite alertare you going to get a nitrite alert

Has anyone had a similar problem as both of my cards havent changed colour since puttimg it in the tank 3 hours ago, followed instructions ?

You should not really expect much change in colour unless you have a really bad water quality, I found hardly any noticeable change. I used for over 6 months and I'm sure it stayed a pale yellowy shade.

Will the ph reader work for malawi cichlids with seachem cichlid salt?

Should do, I use it malawi tanks although I don't use seachem chichlid salt any more because of its high price. Bicarb and epsom salts much cheaper.
