How are these when it comes to removing the velcro off the wall after use? Much paint/wall ripped off?

Personally I would not apply decent Velcro to a wall without expecting the paint/emulsion to come off when removed and if you are unlucky a piece of a poor plaster skim as well. even Bluetack can remove poor emulsion. PM

is there peelback and stick on both sides? There are 4 sides of the tape. Assuming the velcro is on 2 of the sides, is the stickiness 1 or 2 sides?

Both pieces of Velcro are on backing strip so you cut length required and stickyness is on both pieces. Peel each piece off individually. Can only say they adhere extremely well to everything I have used tape on so far

which part do i stick on the wall and which part on the frame?

Either way if effectively the same, but generally, the softer part goes on the removable part for ergonomic reasons.
