Insurrection Pure By Reyane Tradition

Not going to compare this to Aventus, this review is on this product on it's own. If I had to compare this to a designer scent I would say it's somewhat similar to Gucci by Gucci (now known as just Gucci pour homme) with birch added to it. It's about department store designer fragrance quality to it. For some that is not good at all, but for 99% of people they will never know or appreciate $500 niche quality fragrances. I can see why others say this is a year round fragrance. I imagine in the heat the freshness will stand out, whereas in the winter the smoky birch will stand out more. I would personally use this as a daytime/warm weather fragrance, I prefer a more incense/frankincense smoky in the winter such as acqua di gio profumo. I also prefer a fresher fruity vanilla like versace eros in the dead hot summer or a fruity aquatic like bleu de chanel. This is a good spring scent to match the freshness in bloom and a better fall scent to match the smoky feel to the changing colors. I would not recommend this as a work fragrance because it is very strong, unless you use one spray as a mist over you to keep it weak. I prefer softer, somewhat inoffensive (some may say generic) scents for work like boss the scent or the previously mentioned gucci by gucci. The workplace is not a place for a loud fragrance. This fragrance will get noticed, it is unique in a way. It's along the lines of common scents, but it straddles that line with a very loud smoky birch. That being said I do recommend a purchase if the way I've described it sounds like a hit for you. The bottle and packaging are beautiful and so far work wonderfully. The spayer let's out a consistent stream and feels sturdy. I bought directly from Amazon and can attest that the product I received was in original packaging and authentic from this posting. I know there are many others posting with similar prices, I can't speak for them, but this one is legit. Also, I received it 4 business days after purchasing it with free 5-8 day shipping with an order over $49 and the option for as few shipments as possible. I actually got it alone and the day I received it I got an email saying everything else I ordered is just now being shipped and will arrive in 3 more business days. I wasn't expecting such fast shipping. Within hours it was on it's way from southern Florida. Thanks for reading my review, I wish you the best. Also, try acqua di gio profumo, it's by far the best fragrance I've ever smelled. It's relatively expensive but worth every penny. It never fails to get compliments and I love getting a scent of it throughout the day.

Love this scent, not too strong and overpowering, very pleasant and last a long time

I've been wearing this for well over a decade. For a long time it was my "signature scent" and I have so many good memories of my 20's that smelling this fragrance evokes. It's just such a good scent and smells almost exactly like Aventus based on my sampling at Nordstrom. I still wear this once a week or so as I have about a dozen other fragrances that I bounce between depending on my mood. Every time I do I get compliments from strangers, coworkers, and my wife (who, when I wear this, tells me that I smell like I did when we were first dating which is fun to think about). For about $20 you cannot go wrong with this scent. It smells good on the skin, but even better after it's sat for a while on clothes - even the next day. I've got two bottles sitting on my cologne shelf because one had a broken sprayer. I do think that the formula has changed over the time that I've been wearing it, but it's still great. Be cautious about putting it in checked luggage on flights though - I swear that I had a bottle that lost its oomph after flying with it in a checked bag.

Where do I even start? This cologne has absolutely altered my life for the better. Before I had this fragrance I was poor. I stayed home all day, gooned to anthropomorphic animal women and scrolled reddit moderating r/bnwo. After I spent what little money I scrounged up selling recycling I knew I had to buy this cologne. Now that I’m up fr I can say that this scent has turned me from a fat chud to a true Adam. I get all the foids I want because they can’t resist my aroma, they spend their husbands money on me and make sweet love to me while I drown myself in more Insurrection ll Pure. If you want your life to change, buy this cologne!!! Spend everything, go into debt and just buy it!

I bought this in early February 2015 as a blind purchase. I proceeded to douse some paper and took it into work, where several of us agreed it smelled pretty darn good. Because of all the comparisons to Aventus from Creed, I also acquired a sample vial of that as well. I took both the insurrection II Pure and the Creed Aventus sample into work today. Four of us (one woman) proceeded to put some of each on a wrist to compare. While there were differences between them, we all liked both and couldn't pick a clear winner on scent alone. An hour or so later none of us could detect any significant differences between them. Near the end of the day we could say the Aventus outlasted the Insurrection for staying power, but both were basically skin scents by then. We all agreed that for roughly $8/oz for Insurrection II Pure vs $175/oz for Creed Aventus that the Insurrection was the better value and held its own quite well. Personal body chemistry slightly alters the scent for everyone. I think they are similar enough that you could easily pass this off as Aventus if you really wanted to and claim body chemistry variation. For myself, I would say that the similarities are there, but Insurrection II Pure can easily stand on its own merits. The packaging, presentation and bottle are really nice, especially considering the price point.

I've been going down the rabbit hole of finding every Aventus clones out there (since L'Oreal acquired Creed, and has made Aventus weak, and is charging more than ever). This fragrance is not it- not even close...BUT... As a lot of reviews have said, it is certainly great as its own, woody/ mossy darker fragrance, which I like. The other (aqua blue) Insurrection II Sport on the other hand, is a 1 for 1 and phenomenally well done clone of Aventus Cologne just fyi. Both last just as long as the originals, even as an EDT. Great value for what you pay.

I was pleasenly surprised when Insurrection pure 2, was delivered. For under £30 you get a really nice scent!!! It doesn't smell cheap at all!! I initially got it as I fell in love with Creed aventus and wanted a cheaper alternative, I would say that the Pure 2 does bare a resemblance to creed, all be it a very small one. The pure 2 is much smokier than creed, where creed is very refined, potent (because of the Ambergris) so Pure 2 does not last anywhere near as long as creed. So is this a perfect Clone of Creed? I would say No and if you like creed get creed as nothing can really compare to it.. But is pure2 a really great smell at a very reasonable price? Hell Yeh!!! I have both pure 2 and creed at home. I use the pure 2 as my 'every day smell' and just keep the creed for going out. People at work have noticed the pure two, when I wear it, and I do get a lot of compliments throughout the day. It's definitely a very good product!! I used to wear Chanel allure, for my day smell, but switched to the pure as I just love the smell. And for its price, although it's much weaker than Creed, you can just touch it up with a re spray throughout the day. Over all this insurrection pure 2 is a really nice smell and great value for money!! The presentation box and bottle of this product is also very good quality, which makes it a great Christmas present.
