Perfect!
Wow! Don’t listen to the negative reviews. This gear is well built, sturdy, comfortable, and fits well. It is adjustable to fit around the head. It has a smaller chin strap than most others allowing for a more comfortable chin tuck during certain exercises. The straps around the head are padded. It does not move when doing side pulls. Many rings for various exercise angles. Costs a little more than others, but well worth it. I read others mentioning the Velcro giving out over time. I guess time will tell. Highly recommend!

Works but they went cheap on some things
So I have used it a few times now and the harness is good once you get it set up for your noggin. However some shortcuts they took making it frustrate me. Pictured are the loop for the chin strap. Everytime you try to push it through or take it out it gets caught on the cheap d loop since it is flat instead of countered. Makes it really uncomfortable to strap in. Next is the straps for the weights. They used some small carbineers that really don’t let the weights glide in a smooth motion. It is disappointing but can be fixed with a quick trip to Home Depot.

Great Value
Yea it's not the iron neck pro but for $400 cheaper it's an awesome value. With all the d rings you can do a variety of exercises and hit all of your neck. I use with bands and with weights. Set up is way and you really only have to set it up once then its always good to go. Material is very nice and heavy duty. I've had this for over a year and have had no issues.

Too loose.
The quality is top notch, that cannot be argued. Unfortunately, if you are smaller in size then this will not fit tightly enough. I found the need to hold it in place or have it end up pressing down on my nose, ears or off my head depending on the direction of resistance applied. Yes, I tried to adjust to the smallest fit possible.

Works Very Well - Recommended!
I started having a stiff neck and decided that I'd deal with it just like a lot of other body parts - Exercise and Develop that part to strengthen and protect it. I got this rather than the much more expensive metal ring device that Iron Neck also sells now, and I don't feel any need to switch or "upgrade" (if that's Really an upgrade.) Along with this I got Iron Neck's 50 lb. bungee, and their Cynch Anchor. Don't be put off by the resistance number. This bungee can go from near zero resistance UP TO 50 pounds, depending on how far you stretch it. There's one technique I found very useful when pulling on a side ring or rotating my head under resistance. Use the hand opposite the side where the resistance band will pull to hook onto the hanging ring on that opposite side, securing it in place with that hand at the side of my head/face, to keep the harness from rotating or moving too much on my head as my neck and head movement pulls on the bungee. (I hope that was clear enough - it helps a lot.) I would definitely buy this again and highly recommend it. My neck flexibility, strength, and overall feel, has greatly improved.

Unusable - do NOT buy
Expectation vs Reality ratio on this product is 100 : 1. Complete failure on concept itself. Marketing of it would have you believe it solves something over more simple, less padded products -- but at least those products get the job done. Unlike this one... Even more of a failure on execution of details. Carabiners: They used wrong ones. Should have used the kind that can get through the common one inch hole weights. So now you have to fiddle to take them out, before threading the strip through -- every time you change weights and/or direction of exercise. Also, these do not sit straight in the strip loops for the plates. The whole harness becomes loose during your set, shifting into your face, squishing/smushing your eyebrows into your eyes. Really gave this product a benefit of a doubt, but it just went from bad to worst with these practical use observations, after initial fitting observations below. They gave me full credit, due to initial issues (listed below), but I just want for my fellow BodyBuilding enthusiasts have objective information on this. == If there was a way to make this concept work -- this product definitely isn't it. 1. The Velcro strip on the chin strap is attached too far out to the ear, where it would only be useful for a cat. But for a human, result is that chin strap can not be secured in place -- the two sides of Velcro do not reach each other to form a connection. 2. The Front D ring, attached horizontal, keeps hitting you on the bridge of your nose -- with every single repetition. These are the two most apparent defects of this device. Not worth at any price, but especially with what they try to charge for it.

This is a great piece of headgear (really robust, worth the money) for neck exercises, and indeed for the entire spinal column. I use the 4 rings (left, right, front, and back) to attach the headgear to my cable crossover machine and then bend to the side (or front or back depending) from a seated position (I find it works better than standing, but that's just my preference) and pull back up in the other direction. You don't need very much weight at all to make this a great exercise. Work up to 3 sets of 20 reps (10-15 minutes between sets, which goes fast when you're watching the game) at only 2.5 to 3.75 lbs (mind you, there's a little resistance in my old plate-loading cable crossovers as well, so I can't give an exact amount of the weight I'm pulling) is enough to give your neck and entire spinal column a good burn, much more so than if you just did standing side bends with a cable grip in your hand. Pulling from the neck makes all the difference, but don't overdo it because it's a sensitive area. It actually feels like I'm straightening out my spine (time will tell), as I have a slight scoliosis in my upper back which causes back and neck issues. One thing you absolutely need to do when doing the exercise in a sitting position with the cable attached to a low, ground-level height (which gives maximum range to the pull) is to guide the cable with your right hand (if you're bending down to the right and then pulling up again to the left) as you pull back up to the left so it arcs nicely as you pull, keeping the cable away from your body (otherwise the cable pulls into your body, making it uncomfortable and limiting the motion of your rep) so you end the motion of each rep with the cable/weight pulling completely sideways level with your head, rather than the pull remaining coming from down low (as it did at the start of the rep) where the cable is attached. This makes all the difference to the exercise. Anyway, this sounds a little complex but it really works, give it a go. I'd post a video if I had the tech to do that. Also, I recommend wearing a little helmet beanie underneath the headgear as it just makes it more comfortable and the headgear fits more snugly too, so it doesn't shift when doing multiple reps. I bought the Empirelion brand from Amazon for around 10 bucks or so, and it works great. Also, get a pair of leather work gloves because guiding the cable with your bare hand isn't pleasant after a few reps. Don't pull the cable with your hand, just guide it with an open palm in a nice arc throughout the motion, as you want to do the pulling with your neck and back. One small gripe, I'd prefer a slightly wider chin strap. This one does the job, but it's only 1" wide. 1 and a half inches would be better. The velcro closure on the strap could be extended as well, as only about an inch of it catches when I do up the strap, which seems to be enough, it hasn't slipped, but I'd prefer a little more contact. Perhaps on a later model.
