Acrylic Display Case for Lego Cars Diecast Model Cars

This is the second Gemutlich display case I've bought and it is as good as the first one. Very easy to put together, seems like it's really sturdy (the base is probably heavier than it needs to be) and should do a fine job of protecting the items I place under it. One good thing is that the sides are not angled inward like some other display cases and that allows you to take advantage of the entire case size. Other cases are described with the rectangular dimensions at the base but they taper inward towards the top so, if you have something that needs the full volume, sometimes those hit your items at the top. These Gemutlich cases are full size all the way, bottom to top, and provide the full volume for your items. A bit pricey for what they are but they are good quality so worth the expense in my opinion.

EXCELENT QUALITY!

I've ordered several acrylic display cases and so far this company had the best all around product. The acrylic is thick and doesn't flex like other sets I've used and the the whole box fitting into a grooved slot into the base (rather than small cutout slots like putting a pizza box together) was way more stable. The locking pins are also captive 1 piece, which I realized DRAMATICALLY helps with the install. The pins that lock the acrylic plates together come in 2 parts on other sets: sleeve and pin and with thin acrylic it becomes a nightmare trying to fit things in 2 steps. With this set, it's slide and lock: done. I just wish they had more sizes available so I wouldn't have to look elsewhere. Lastly, the inclusion of a small, round metal pin removal tool is incredibly thoughtful (which I've used on the other PITA sets), it saves your fingertips from utter pain and despair lol.

No issues at all with these cases. They hold my larger scale Lego cars perfectly along with the largest Mattel Brick Shop car. Build is sturdy and reliable.

Directions are thorough. Perfect for displaying my Grand Hotel replica music box. Seller is also responsive and kind. Would recommend.

Super awesome for your Lego sets if you wanna keep it clean 👌👌👌

After seeing a bunch of cheap plastic display cases in the local hobby stores (most of which were broken or chipped), I decided to purchase this case. Oh my goodness, it far exceeded my expectations! It's made of high quality acrylic panels with a beautiful wooden base. It was super easy to assemble and all the parts aligned perfectly. I assembled the case on a large bath towel but did not use the white gloves that were provided. The biggest challenge was getting the protective sheets off of each panel. Contrary to the instructions, I took them off completely during the assembly process (not after). It got a little easier as the assembly progressed. Patience is the key. I'm blown away by how good this case looks. The Gemutlich products will be my "go to" for all future display cases.

The acrylic itself is thick and very clear. It was pretty easy to assemble by myself. I'm using it for a lego set. The only change I would suggest is put another set of holes on the middle sides as well for added support. Even though its a short length, the sides bends in a bit from the pressures of the end supports, and when you lift from the sides it bends in more as well. But delivery was early by a day and nothing was broken or missing.

I bough this as a gift and the recipient loved it. It was easy to put together and is an easy way to diplsy their collectables.

Great quality for the price. Pieces were all in great condition, packed well, and were put together perfectly.

Love it

Excellent. Easy to assemble with good instructions. Everything you need including white cotton gloves. Clear acrylic panels. Will be buying more.

Stop the dust getting on your heads. Easy to put together
