Be in a Treehouse: Design / Construction / Inspiration

I purchased this as a Christmas gift for my husband which is a great fan of Pete and his tree house building. This is one of two books I purchased and found it to be of good quality well written and illustrated. My husband will be thrilled.

Lovely book. I like the contents very much

very stimulating text and brilliant photos. All I need now is quite a lot of time, the right tree, some decent bits of wood and the help of a friend or two. From Pete Nelson's book, the result could well be worth the effort.

Having recently bought a house with a large garden with a stand of large firs I thought the perfect present to my wonderful husband would be an arboreal man cave. This book has given me loads of ideas.

We have his first treehouse book, and this one just builds on the first success. We LOVE it. Great book, and instructional, too.

Covers the basics for beginners but also has lots of pictures of advanced projects for entertainment or inspiration. Great book!

Habe mir zuerst ein anderes Buch zu dem Thema gekauft, weil ich dieses gar nicht gefunden hatte. Liegt wohl daran, dass es das Buch nicht auf deutsch gibt. Wer des Englischen allerdings einigermaßen mächtig ist, findet hier das beste Allround Buch zum Thema Baumhaus. Man findet von der ersten Idee bis zum fertigen Baumhaus alles Nötige einfach erklärt und, anhand von eigenen Erfahrungen des Autors, veranschaulicht. Einige Tipps, wie z.B. die Materialbeschaffung in den USA, bringen einem hier natürlich nichts. Trotzdem ist das Buch jeden Cent wert und ein toller Begleiter beim Baumhausbau. PS: Falls jmd. noch mehr Rezensionen lesen möchte, geht das übrigens auf der amerikanischen amazon Seite. Da ist das Buch sehr populär und auch sehr gut bewertet!
