40FT Extra Long Kerf Weather Stripping Door Seal for Large Gaps and Easy Installation (White)

just got it and installed on one door in around 5 minutes. not difficult at all. fits perfect and stops cold air like it should. if i see longevity issues, i'll update if needed. for now, this is a great product and a good value at the current price (when getting the 40ft roll). i have plenty left to do my front door.......and after that there'll still be enough left over to replace both doors again in the future (if needed). very satisfied.

Works perfectly. We'll worth the price. Seems very durable. Easy to install. Insulated my door. Now no drafts and cut down on the noise. Easy to cut to size.

This weather stripping made SUCH a difference and was so easy to install! I had quite a gap between my door and the frame, so this thicker stripping was necessary and absolutely perfect. In Minnesota, the winter breeze is no joke. I could feel it rushing in before this weather stripping. Now there are absolutely no drafts or lights slipping through the cracks! It's been installed for a little over a year now and, and it's got a lot of life left in it. My mother used a similar type of stripping and it's still going strong 10 years later. There's no adhesive either, it just squeezes in between the wood so it's super easy to put up and take down, and the bendability makes it a dream to work with.

My door from the garage to mudroom was leaking cold air constantly. I replaced the weather stripping with this and it has stopped 98% of the cold air coming in. It was a perfect fit; the stripping slid into the existing groove. There is also enough to probably do another door. Great product and easy install.

I'm so happy that I took this project on, it was incredibly easy. I wasn't familiar with the Kerf type installation, so looked at a youtube video for about a minute before I realized there's nothing to it. First step is removing the old, and it takes a little bit of patience to get the end of the old stuff initially out of the groove, but using a small flat tool and some needle nosed plyers, it was pretty intuitive how to get it pried out of there. Once started, it's just a matter of pulling the old stuff free, measuring the new (I used the old as a template, but left it a tiny bit long, just in case, then snipped off the excess at the end). To install, it's truly as simple as pushing the new seal into place by sliding the.tab into the slot. Press firmly, done. I only had one spot where the new seal didn't want to slide in easily, but I just removed it, slid my putty knife along the door groove in that spot to make sure nothing was blocking it. It didn't even seem like anything had been removed, but on the second try the seal slipped right in to the slot as it's supposed to. I did the front and back doors in less than 20 minutes.. The product does look bent and a little crinkly when you first take it out of the package, but it smooths right out and looks normal as soon as you install it. As for being too big or small -- it's neither. It matched what I took out exactly, so it was just right for the job when installed. The doors look great now, and it's probably the easiest home maintenance project I've ever taken on.

Very easy to use. And goes perfectly with my White color door. No adhesive required. But your door has to be compatible tonput this on. Feels durable. And stops noise very well. I biught it to make my insulation work well and it did the job. Recommended.

It went right in at installation. Fit in old seal gap in door from and stayed in place. It’s great the small plastic strip fits into gap with two little strips made with the plastic strip that hold it in place inside the gap. Very easy to install and works.

The pvc flange is too small. I have a very standard door frame and the channel is no wider than normal. This slips in and out much too easily. I am forced to add some caulk - so please pray for the person who will need to replace this in 5 to 7 years 'cause it ain't comin' out easy... If you are willing to add a dab of caulk to keep this in the channel then it's a nice seal.

This weather stripping worked perfectly to seal my patio door. The kerf style is great, just press it into the existing slot in the door frame. No mess, no tools. The 40ft length was more than enough for two exterior doors. A noticeable difference in drafts for a very small price. Would buy again.
