Easy to Install and Use
Product worked exactly as advertised out of the box. Provided fast internet service to building about 300 feet from house, but range is far greater. Worked about 2 years without problems, then we had a power outage where power flickered on and off several times before finally going out. That reset the units to factory defaults, result was no internet service in the barn. Resetting the devices didn't help. I contacted Cambium tech support. Within hours they responded with an 8 page primer on how to reconfigure the units. I have no IT experience, but got it working in about 30 minutes. After that, Cambium tech staff asked me to get on a call with them and they stepped me through the reconfiguration of both units. Took over an hour, but now the configuration is ideal for my specific application and security is much higher. Software was updated as well. These units are way more capable than I would have imagined, many other things these units can do. I highly recommend these units if you need internet in a remote building, but I think I will buy a battery backup for each end to avoid having to reconfigure again.

Easy setup, Excellent performance so far
I used these to replace a troublesome "ethernet over powerline" run from my barn to house, which is maybe 1/4 mile. With decent line of sight (some trees) the setup was simple, and the performance is excellent! They were very much plug and play as far as configuration goes, though once set up I have made some tuning adjustments using the web based management interface. So far (several weeks) the connection has been rock solid, and I am seeing sustained Mbps tests in the upper 180s. The management interface is nicely done, too, with real time throughput plots, link tests, interference management, etc. The only snag was that the units did not accept PoE power from my existing PoE switch (even though the power specs were sufficient and it claims to support "standard" PoE pinouts), so I had to use the supplied PoE injectors.

Incorrect Instructions - Does not work with PoE switch
Specifications in their own instructions state: "Compatible with Cambium PoE pinouts and Standard PoE pinouts." Just tested this with my 802.3at-enabled switch and it did not work. You have to use their included PoE injector for both the transmitter and the receiver. It's a nice design, but the fact that you have to use a PoE injector at each end just adds to clutter, and that's a deal breaker for me. Will be returning this product and purchasing a different brand that works with a standard PoE switch.

These worked great right away, beware of multiple sets
Was in a huge hurry for a project and didn't have time to setup a bridge. These worked great right away. If you are going to use more than one pair, you will need to add a preferred ap. They randomly connect to the wrong station and create a loop if not, and all the SSID's are the same out of the box.

How can anyone have a problem setting these up?
I'll start by explaining that I am a Network Infrastructure Architect. I design, configure and deploy network solutions (Wired and Wireless) all day everyday, and have been for almost 20 years. I recently started installing these at remote facilities (Oil & Gas Industry) for our company. In the past, I would order individual items, spend a day or two configuring IP addresses, SSIDs, VLANs, Security, and deploying them to a lab or controlled environment, testing, and eventually moving to the field deployment phase. Start to finish this would take a week or more to move from proof of concept, to the final installation. In comes the Cambium ePMP Force 180...Steps:1. Open box2. Install first device3. Install second deviceHow hard is that? There is no need to get into the device to "change the settings". It is already using the equivalent of Suite B encryption, the power is set to max, and the SSID is hidden. Think of it as a "wireless" cable, with the distance capability of single-mode fiber. In fact, the installation is so simple that today (September 12, 2020) I installed 3 sets in the span of 1.5 hours. No additional configuration, no needed expertise, no hassle. I simply cannot understand the low reviews for these. If you want quality equipment, with very easy installation, and do not need or want to pay thousands of dollars for professional installation services (for inferior products), just get this Cambium ePMP Force 180.

The device worked great for the 300' link
We used this on our farm to connect one building to another. We needed internet access in the center of the farm to run a cloud-based temperature / humidity sensor system. The device worked great for the 300' link, paired up out of the box after we applied power. Now we can install extra sensors in our produce coolers and greenhouses, and we also deployed a wireless router at the far end of the link for better internet access on the farm (mainly for data entry). We have been limited for a while because we didn't want to run an Ethernet cable under a gravel clearing.I do wish the devices came with an Ethernet cable, other than that we were able to mount the device to a pole with the provided clamp without issue. We may use another link to get over to some grain bins that are about a half mile away, as the crow flies.

Not Simple Plug In Installation. Confusing Tech support.
My home wifi installers bid $2000 to get wifi to my pool house, so instead I purchased this product as it was advertised as simple, preprogramed/pre paired. I was disappointed when I initially sat up the antennas, probably at a distance of only 200ft to the pool house and it immediately took down the wifi in my primary house. Tech support had me reset the system and then replace all the cable. (It was a pain as it's in the attic.) OK. Didn't make sense to me, I'm not trained in tech. $25 for cables, same thing happened. Next the CambiumTech guy says change your modem. Really? This controls my TV's ,security and wifi and was working fine as long s the antenna wasn't plugged in. Pointless.... unless this is this just wear down the customer? SCORE! You succeeded. I consulted my own tech guy for help. (They won't work with this equipment) They suspect that that RF interference is why the system shuts down. That does make sense. Unfortunately, more than a month has passed since purchase and Amazon doesn't respond to my complaints. Anyone what to buy some $300 bookends? Now wifi to the pool house will cost me $2300!

Brilliant - works out of the box!
Bought this to replace Ubiquiti which was a disaster to setup and wow am I glad because it works out of the box. Using to distribute WLAN signal from house to outbuilding appx 50 yards away. Plug base station into your existing WIFI router, mount on exterior wall. Go to outbuilding, mount the remote antenna, aim at base station, plug in and it connects almost immediately. I plugged in a Netgear AC1750 wifi/router to the remote antenna, created an SSID for the remote building, connected laptop and smart TV. Getting 60 mbps both up and downstream. So happy with the product from this vendor since it came preconfigured - genius!
