LEGO Cuusoo Back to The Future

As a fan of Lego since a young age, I bought countless Lego sets over the years. In recent years however I stopped buying the sets but decided to pick this one up as I am a huge fan of the Back to the Future trilogy. I was slightly apprehensive at first since the set is a product from the Lego CUUSOO (now titled Lego Ideas) range. I was worried that due the set being designed by a fan rather than originating from within Lego themselves, the overall build quality and design would be lacking, but I couldn't be more wrong. The build itself was very satisfying with a mixture of simple and more complex elements. The way in which the different features like the gullwing doors and the 'flight mode' wheels are implemented is fantastic, and very satisfying to see functioning in the finished result. It looks incredibly accurate both in scale and detail; there is printing on interior elements like the flux capacitor which adds a certain level of depth and authenticity to the set, and the minifigures of Marty McFly and Doc Brown are brilliantly accurate and detailed with front and back printing. Price wise, I would have expected a slightly larger build, but since it is designed to be accurate in scale for a minifigure, it's hard to complain, not to mention the fact that this set really is an item for fans and collectors, and looks great as a stationary model. Overall, this set was a great purchase, and it succeeded in kickstarting my love for building Lego sets again, can't recommend it enough.

I am a Lego collector and love models like this. The idea of recreating move favorites like this appeals to fans like me. Having missed an opportunity to buy this when it was originally released was inspired by the launch of the Ghostbusters Ecto-1 car. After building the Ghostbusters car, the natural thing to do was get the Delorean car which was an absolute joy to build and the mini figures are fantastic too. I love the quality of the design and the clever use of bricks to build this car. This stands proudly alongside my Ghostbusters car now! Looking forward to more movie designs from Lego Cuusoo. The only small gripe I have is that I did not realise when I ordered this car, it was coming from the USA and it took a month to come. On the positive side, it was the cheapest available at the time so it turned out a winner for me.

I love back to the future and I love Lego,you know what I also love.This Set.Its great If your a back to the future fan and its a great way to get your kids into the film aswell. Being able to make all three cars(though not all at once)is also the great you know what wasn't great...the price.The set is great,the price is stupid,I mean the set itself is £40 for a car with bits to add to it? And the only reason some one would buy it is if they were a fan.But come on! 40 quid!But in any case I would love to see a line of back to the future toys.But Lego you really need to tone down the price.Just a bit

I bought this for my partner's 30th birthday. Back to the Future is his absolute favourite trilogy and he's been eyeing this set for ever. This is the perfect gift for a lockdown! No pieces missing at all, box in mint condition, very fast delivery, absolutely fantastic purchase. Price is quite a hike for this size of Lego set but considering it is not being made anymore I was more than understanding of the price, and happy to pay for it, his joy when opening the present was worth every penny!

Wow, I have never seen a LEGO set with so many pages in the instruction booklet. I bought this to make an advent calendar, separating the pieces into 25 piles with accompanying instructions. As such, I had to copy and print over 60! pages, and cut them out. Mind you, the booklet is amazing! Apart from giving building instructions, it tells you a lot about the films, and gives you snippets throughout, which I had to cover up with some basic photoshopping. (Can't have him guess what it is halfway through.) Bought this as a gift for my husband, as he loves the movies, so he will LOVE IT! (Or else...)

A fantastic piece of Lego, worth the money and it looks fantastic! The fact you can build the different DeLoreans is also a nice little touch by the designers which just makes it more fun to make! In edition you get a little fan service with the instruction booklet! If you're into Lego AND you just so happen to love the Back To The Future trilogy, why are you still reading and why haven't you clicked add to cart yet??

As an avid back to the future fan and overall lego geek this was a no brainer purchase for me. The actual car is fantastic! You might not realise but you can add different elements to make it the car fro. Each of the films and it's all included in this set! The mini figures are a last too! Even comes with Marty's skateboard! If you're someone who likes to put your mini figures in your cars then don't hold your breath as that is all this set won't do. Overall a pretty heavy product.

This an awesome set. I was a little concerned when I got it. I am fairly certain this set ships from Canada or something, because the graphics are slightly different fro most sets I've seen in the states, and everything is printed in English and French. As soon as I opened the box I was hooked. The quality in this set is just a little bit above everything else I've gotten from Lego. The box has flaps and opens like a briefcase so you don't destroy it while opening it. Then when I pulled out the instruction booklet its not a thin set of paper instructions, its more like a commemorative booklet with facts about the movie, as well as the story of how the creators of the set were able to make it happen. Everything about this set makes it feel like a collector's edition set. Everything so far is just the gravy though, lets get to the set. The details on this set are superb. There are no decals, all of the decal pieces have everything printed on them. It has the flux capacitor, a couple of gauges, and then the piece right on the dash with the actual dates from the first movie leaving 1985 and going back to 1958. It also comes with both of the license plates used in the three movies, I prefer the California OUTATIME plate, but it also has the orange 2015 barcoded plate that even has the state and the date on it. Both of the doors swing open, and the wheels swing down to mimic flying as displayed on the front of the box. It even has some clear pieces that act as a stand underneath it so that you can mimic hovering if you decide to display it like that. It also comes with all of the pieces necessary to make the changes that happened to the car though out the movies. I only have two tiny complaints regarding this set. The first is that the docs hair is designed in such a way that he doesn't fit in the car, and its just barely that he doesn't fit, so I have mine set up so it looks like he's getting in, but Marty does fit in the car with no problems. The other slight thing is that I would have loved to have seen Doc's dog as part of the set, but like I said these are both trivial things. The detail in the characters is fantastic, the both have two faces you can switch between smiling, and being afraid, then the other face is covered by the hair. In conclusion, if you know someone who is a fan of both Legos and the Back to the Future movies I highly recommend this set. The detail is fantastic, and you can't beat the price. The best bang for your buck that I've seen in a lego set in quiet a while.

Da ich ein großer Fan der Filme bin, kam diese Kreation sehr gelegen. Ich bin froh, dass Lego Fans die Möglichkeit gibt , eigene Ideen vorzustellen und durch das Cusco Projekt ,Wirklichkeit werden zu lassen. Zum Modell: Die Figuren sind natürlich in der typischen Legomanier gefertigt und zusammenzustecken : Beine.Rumpf und der Kopf. Die Drucke sehen alle top aus. Jeder Kopf hat 2 Gesichter Doc und Marty schauen entweder erschrocken, oder fröhlich daher. Je nachdem wie man es gerne hätte. Der Delorean ist einfach und schnell zusammen zu bauen, dank der Legotypischen Anleitung. Das Besondere hierbei ist, dass die Anleitung gebunden ist (geklebt) und einige Informationen zum Film enthält. Man kann sich beim Aufbau entscheiden, welche Filmversion man denn bauen möchte. Dafür wird auch ein Satz roter Reifen mit geliefert und einige Extrateile. Extreme Sammler müssen sich also 3 dieser Boxen holen ^^ Rundum bin ich mit dem Model sehr zufrieden- tolle idee-klasse Umsetzung-sehr wertige Verpackung und Anleitung. Auf gehts....zurück auf den Spielteppich....

LEGOが大好きな息子。主人の影響もありバックトゥザフューチャーにどハマり中、３か月くらい前に このLEGOを発見！通知表が良かったので ご褒美でおばあちゃんに買ってもらう事に。ですが、関東住みの私達 おばあちゃんは関西。急遽 行ける日が3日間だけ出来たので おばあちゃんが直接プレゼントしたいとの願いもあり ダメ元で 早めにして下さいと ショップにメッセージした所、なんと注文1時間後に発送したとの連絡😳私達と同時にプレゼントが届き、ラッピングまで丁寧にして下さり感謝感謝の気持ちいっぱいです😊もちろん 息子も大喜びで 黙々と作り 毎日持ち歩いて離しません。本当にカッコ良く パート1.2.3と変えられるのも 凄く素敵です！少しお値段しましたが、良いショップで良い買い物でき、大満足です。ありがとうございました💕

piccolo set ma di grande fascino,la DeLorean è realizzata in modo egregio,non eccelso però (la ecto-1 è mooooolto più bella) ma comunque resta un set che ogni amante della serie deve avere. Carine le minifig di Marty e Doc,simpatica l'idea delle 3 versioni della DeLorean,in base ai capitoli della trilogia. Per coloro che investono in Lego,set che si è già rivalutato parecchio ed è destinato a salire nelle quotazioni

Se trató de un regalo para nostálgicos de las películas. Es realmente fantástico verlo montado, tanto que está en una vitrina montado y es una chulada de Lego. A los de mi quinta les encantará.
