Very salty
This is a really salty jar of beans. No way to eat right out of the jar for me but I will use them in recipes.

Did not like these at all
Normally, we all love beans but these left a metallic after taste that was really unpleasant. The smell of the contents, when we first opened that jar was also some what unpleasant. Dumped the beans and liquid out and re used the jar after a thorough washing.

Good as the Cento brand
Was hoping these would be as good, and they are. Plus less expensive. Love to snack on them with the chewy outside skin. Low cal too! Great fiber. Heard of people peeling the skins off and I tried that in the past. Results= waste of time and fiber chew. I will buy these again in the future.

These have the flavor I remember from my youth, but are VERY hard to peel
We used to pop these beans out of their skins into our mouths as kids. NO WAY with these. They were very, very difficult to peel. Luckily, I didn't need the beans intact for my recipe - they were pureed after peeling. If I were using these where they needed to present whole I would have torn my hair out. I don;t know if this is true of all jarred Lupini beans. We ate them after the dried beans beans had been soaked in salted water five or maybe six times -- it took DAYS to make them. Once they were made, we kids clamored to pop the salty treats out of their skins into our mouths.

These are perfect!
These are perfect! Exactly right consistency and salt, no bitterness at all. I am a bit of a lupini beans connoisseur and these are some of the best I've tried. I do recommend rinsing 2-3 times before eating by themselves as I do, or perhaps just once if putting on salad. Try them with hardboiled eggs (no rinse)!

I did not like taste at all
I did not like taste at all for those beans as snack. But I found recipe for vegan cheese made out of them, I didn't try it yet. If cheese will be eatable, I will change my rating.

My Italian husband loves these
Personally I don't understand why anybody eats these however my husband is talian and he and his friends and all of his family enjoy them so I serve them at every meal. it must be an acquired taste that I have not acquired.
