Solid amp
There are a few things that Iโm not crazy about with this receiver but I still give it 5 stars because it was the perfect solution for putting a multi zone system in my 48โ trailer I use for my work space and storage. 1 zone in the office, 1 zone for the length of the box and a 3rd zone at the lift gate. The Bluetooth sucks. I bought a separate DAC that does Bluetooth, optical-in, USB-in. Thatโs the secret sauce. Then, my source is either the tv in the office or my phone or iPad. The sound quality with this Aiyima A7 DAC paired with the Rockville is just exceptional. So beyond impressed with the results but things to note: the Bluetooth on this amp is weak, the remote is terrible and the antenna for am/fm doesnโt really work. However, for a multi zone system where all I really need is amplification and zone control, this is it right here.

Connectors are cheap but unit itself is excellent
The connectors are cheaply made however the unit itself is exceptional. Very heavy and well built and handles all the speakers and sub I have hooked to it.

Affordable and powerful
I purchased this unit to replace an increasingly unreliable multi-room music streaming service and the overly invasive devices required to use said service. I am completely satisfied with the quality of sound and features, especially having line level outputs for each zone as well as regular speaker connections. Individual controls for each zone allows me to balance the zones volume while the main volume handles all zones with equal volume control and mute. I also like the remote control with individual and main volume. Using for my outdoor sound system, line outputs to small 2.1 channel amps with klipche subs and outdoor speakers for the more remote areas. One zone having 2-250' rg-6 coax with no problem. Small amount of ground loop hum in standby but powerful sound with no noticeable echo.I definitely recommend Rockville products as they do not disappoint. This unit is quite heavy so use caution when lifting.

Failed after 20 months of light use.
Unfortunately, after not quite 2 years of light use, the magic smoke escaped today and the unit no long functions. Itโs been connected to a sine wave battery backup since new. 1 year warranty.

Great potential, but two major flaws ruin the experience - Bluetooth Range and Optical format
I installed this unit in my outdoor kitchen / pavilion to power eight 6.5โ OSD speakers (150W RMS each) and dual 12โ 800 watt powered subwoofer. While the overall sound quality is actually quite decent, the unit completely fails on its two features most important to me.First, the optical input only produces a pulsating noise when connected to my TV, likely due to an issue handling Dolby signals *** edit - Changed the output on my TV from Dolby to PCM. The optical issue has been resolved. Second, the Bluetooth range is absolutely horrid. My old receiver let me walk all the way to the pool with my tablet; this one loses connection if I'm more than 3 feet away. I tested this with Apple, Android, and Windows devices, and they all have the same issue. I will likely be returning this. Itโs a real shame they tanked an otherwise great product by saving 50 cents on a cheap Bluetooth module.

Great amp with one exception
Edit: Added a video of my in-ceiling speakers being driven by this amp. No distortion, no buzzing, it is loud and clear. I really don't know what these other reviews are talking about. They must no know how to install a sound system.First it is an amazing multi-zone amplifier for the price. Secondly the level of flexible is unmatched for most multi-zone amplifiers at any price. Believe me, I searched high and low to find something this good at a great price. This is the real dealSecondly it is not perfect. Why: The bluetooth connection has limited range like most bluetooth connections. I have yet to find a bluetooth amp at any price the offers great connectivity with good to great sound. So I knew before even purchasing this amplifier that the bluetooth would be unusable. Any one who has a little bit of understanding of wireless audio should have known that prior to purchase. So what the solution??: Wiim Pro Streaming device ($150.00) connected to the Rockville via either analog or digital input. Bam: Now you have a great system for under $500.00Amazing system with in-ceiling speakers with this Rockville amp is almost impossible to beat at almost any price.Don't listen to people who don't know how to put together an audio system and complain about it short-comings. It is simply to put together and offers great value.

Bluetooth feature non functional after 1 1/2 wks of use.
Had the unit set up for 1 1/2 weeks and it worked great. Then Bluetooth connectivity stopped functioning. I worked through Rockville who had great customer service, but with shipping times, setup and use for a couple of weeks, I was told I was outside the return window. They said they would do a refund anyway which was great, but what I really want is a functioning unit. Rockville doesnโt have any or any comparable in stock. My only option is to go back to Amazon who has raised the price about $70 in a month which is very disappointing. Now in addition to the time spent on set up, taking it back down and returning it, I have to pay more money to get the same unit and do it all again.

Fantastic Multizone, Multi Control Amplifier
This amplifier is fantastic! I'm very picky about sound quality, being able to hear tonality and music. This was one of the few amps that wasn't ridiculously expensive that allows you to control the bass and treble for each zone! Also the remote control has a master volume control so that you can control all zones at once, or individually adjust the volume up or down for each zone. This is a huge deal for me! And especially if you happen to be mismatching different speaker sizes or even brands. This amp is powering my 4 backyard speakers, my two patio speakers ( and patio sub via rca out), and two speakers in my living room. I have a Hi-Fi Bluetooth device that feeds into a Rockville equalizer that feeds into this amplifier, that feeds into a two channel Rockville amp that I'm using to power my two subs and my setup sounds incredible! They all connect via rca. I'm planning on buying another in the futute to finish my other rooms in my house. I have an inline bass knob on my patio to adjust the patio sub up to +12 db and I can adjust the low pass cut off between 150 down to 80 at the turn of a knob. And its compact and rack mountable! But its heavy.
